It's not January yet!

I installed tado last month. So I can turn the boiler off remotely just in case the wife turns the heating on

Mines on at the minute, mainly to dry the wallpaper that I have put up but its getting chilly.

XiJ - how does it connect up, looks quite interesting that Tado kit.

Replaces controller to your boiler and can use a wireless thermostat if you don't have one. Works on RF. There an connection kit to your router (wired) and it does connect to tado services that way.

I found it easy to fit myself.

I've seen 6.5 degrees this morning, but as we had our cavity wall and our windows done last year the inside of the house is still sitting happilly at 20 degrees!

I wish I had this when my drunk housemate used to come in at 1 am on a tuesday and turn the heating on!

Mine has been on all summer but as it was set at 15 degrees it didn't come on. I turned it up last week and it has come on at 6 yesterday and today

Still quite warm here, generally. Plus, my house absorbs heat so it evens out cold periods in a day.

I reckon I won't be turning my heating on for at least a couple of weeks.

Got cold legs riding into work this morning but still short sleeves.

I never wear anything but short sleeves, at least for work. I suspect it will be at least a month or so before our heating goes on. Lounge and bedroom windows still open 24/7.

Our heating is always turned on but controlled by wireless thermostat. Unfortunately in the last couple of weeks something seems to be going wrong with it (interference?) so the heating has been coming on at weird times (ie when we are baking hot already).

Heating? On? Is it November already?

My hands got cold riding in yesterday so I ought to check the heating works after the various bits of plumbing which happened since we last used it.

It's been lovely weather in the days around here, I went out for a walk in t-shirt and shorts earlier and felt perfectly capable. I'm off to the football tonight so I will admit to wearing jeans and a hoodie for that, as the temperature does drop in the late evenings and it's going to be a long time in one place instead of walking, but I can't imagine needing the heating on for a good while yet.
