  1. Hi all, anyone else having issues with update: KB5026372. It's affecting most of our W11 laptops, once it's installed and restarts, the laptop won't boot past the manufacture logo. This is after Bitlocker and successfully entering the bitlocker code. Non of the recovery options are working. Only options it rebuild laptop and then it's only a matter of time before the update installs. Cheers!

  4. I'll consider putting it out in September 2022 or maybe an IT room for testing. I've got it running on a 2013 (8 years old) HP. Note: I think Windows PC health Checker for W11 will automatically state your PC is not compatible unless you have TPM switched on, and this took two BIOS updates in my case, so I can't see spec being an issue for most of us!?!
  5. Just testing W11 on an old HP. Spec isn't much of an issue according to Microsoft - see below - it's just a faff updating all BIOS on 350 PC's!!! (this test PC required 2 BIOS updates to make it W11 compatible). Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with two or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or system on a chip (SoC). RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB) or greater. Storage: 64 GB* or greater available storage is required to install Windows 11. Additional storage space might be required to download updates and enable specific features. Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later, with a WDDM 2.0 driver. System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable. TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0. Display: High definition (720p) display, 9" or greater monitor, 8 bits per color channel.
  6. Thanks for the info, I'll get cracking!
  7. Nope, I disabled the LTSC image and enabled the Edu image, still nowt. Would using MDT be a more up to date method of deploying W10? Cheers
  8. Hello all, I hope someone can help.. I have recently created a new W10 Edu image, sysprepped it and uploaded it to the WDS server. I did this before but with an LTSC image and that worked fine. However, the W10 edu image will not show during setup, any ideas why that could be? All previous Images work fine, is Edu that much different to LTSC that I might need to sort drivers or make a new boot image? Cheers!
  9. amazing spot, this worked! Now I just need to create a link that staff can access Cheers
  10. I see, so did you use a different method? are your staff working from Docs stored OneDrive (which is my ultimate goal) Thanks
  11. Same for me, working on it this week...
  12. Good afternoon all, We are currently trialing Edulink and so far, we think it is great. I'd love to get this in place but SLT are hung up on one particular feature and that is detentions. At the moment we have one type of detention, in the main hall, if you get a detention you go there. Up to 90 mins per day over 3x30min sessions. We can re create this which is good, however, if you want give a naughty pupil a detention, who already has quite a few detentions you have to keep trying to apply one until it you find a free slot. This could take a while.. So how do others go about detentions in Edulink (or even SIMS for that matter as the process is the same). We use PARS and think we had this feature added by request. Any help most appreciated. Cheers
  13. As in school google account? (we have gsuite here)
  14. NIce one all. I have given access to all to use Chrome. I think the only issue raised is that it didn't remember settings such as favourites. Can this be modified? Cheers - - - Updated - - - Will this be available for W10 Enterprise LTSC? Cheers
  15. Hi all, What are folk using as their default sitewide web browser? I'm on Windows 10 LTSC which doesn't have access to Edge apparently, so I'm stuck using IE which is gradually becoming more and more of a burden. Cheers!
