adamchapman Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 This has got to be wrong! I'd assumed that we've got a 10MB connection to YHGfL... Download 72.72 Mb/s Upload 7.04 Mb/s After running 3-4 tests speeds vary between 45 and 72! hmmmm curious now...
webman Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 In contrast to our previous 60/26 down/up, we're now getting this: http://www.speedtest.net/result/759484039.png 1

ajs Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This has got to be wrong! I'd assumed that we've got a 10MB connection to YHGfL... Download 72.72 Mb/s Upload 7.04 Mb/s After running 3-4 tests speeds vary between 45 and 72! hmmmm curious now... There were rumblings of the connection to YHGfL being upgraded to 100MB but it was never really made clear how this was going to work: a) each school would have 100MB connection or b) the overall connection for schools would be 100MB with each school taking a small cut of the bandwidth. There's probably the letter from North Lincs buried somewhere in the remains of my filing (unless you've thrown it all out) but I would assume that the upgrade has actually happened.
