3s-gtech Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Oldest in real use is our onsite proxy server, Dell Poweredge 2550, dating to 2001. Dual P3s with 2GB RAM. Running Debian 5. Works sweet, being replaced in a couple of weeks!

Ooooh, feeling quite swish with my Evesham P4 -512mb How do you know it dosn't work if you can't read it? Ah, the disk inside is stuck, looks like someone spilt coffee on it... Unfortunately they had "STAPLED" the disk to the covering letter to ensure it didn't get lost.

If it ain't broke... I had to set up standalone XP machines for our CAM stuff as in my naivety I thought upgrading to 7 would work fine. Turns out that relying on future support for IT equipment is a fool's game.
