We went down the POE route - much tidier and easier to install as well. We still have one phone that runs on a normal phone line - in case of emergencies.

Almost ashamed to say - but - I rather like it....

A gang of us at our school have been following the "Couch to 5K" plan from NHS Choices. Tis all free and we've all enjoyed it very much, there's new staff starting it as we speak... I've dropped my weight from just under 14 stone to 11.5 stone, although I have been somewhat more careful about what I eat as well (i.e. I've only had one Cornish Pasty since July - rather than 4 a week!). Thankfully, a downloaded version from the Microsoft VLC site sorted it out - two iffy DVDs I suspect. Thanks for the advice all. Steve

Apologies if I wasn't clear - I'm currently trying to install WINDOWS SERVER 2008 - then I'll try SQL server....

I'm trying to set up the new SIMS server using Server 2008 Standard 64 bit version (R1). Every time I try to install it falls over part way through with an I/O error. Error code 0cx00000e9 By way of trouble shooting: The 32 Bit version of R1 – Installs with no problems The 64 Bit version of R2 – Installs with no problems The 64 Bit version of R1 falls over, with the same error each time. (Ramesys have replaced the CD - I still get the same error with the replacement DVD) I’ve also tried copying the files from the 64 Bit R1 disk on my own workstation (and on a colleagues machine) and it falls over every time when trying to copy the boot.wim file (on both versions of the DVD you’ve sent) Ramesys have suggested I contact Microsoft Activation to sort this out, but it doesn't strike my as an activation issue. Does anyone have an idea as to where I should start look for a solution? Please?
