Dell Optiplex 260 512mb RAM Windows XP running the CAD-CAM cutter in DT. It's old, slow, cranky and occasionally needs reminding who's boss but it's still working so it's not going to get fixed...

Oldest in real use is our onsite proxy server, Dell Poweredge 2550, dating to 2001. Dual P3s with 2GB RAM. Running Debian 5. Works sweet, being replaced in a couple of weeks!

Ah, the disk inside is stuck, looks like someone spilt coffee on it... I wonder what secrets it holds... Would a data recovery firm implode if they received one of these lol

Dunno officially, but it's probably my Rock 8889 laptop which is a BYOD. I have no idea as to how old it is but it gets used quite regularly. It's my Linux haven in a jungle of M$.

Back in the day we had a customer send us a copy of their database on 5.25 " floppy.

 

Unfortunately they had "STAPLED" the disk to the covering letter to ensure it didn't get lost.

Off the top of my head I'd say probably the HP 4050 printer in ICT - I was told it was a couple of years old when I started here in 2004!

I had to set up standalone XP machines for our CAM stuff as in my naivety I thought upgrading to 7 would work fine. Turns out that relying on future support for IT equipment is a fool's game.
