  1. Synology with their built in tools. You pay for the hardware only and no recurring fees for the backups.
  2. Admin office have a tablet with 4G SIM here with the sign in system app on to do the fire register outside. Just grab and go
  3. I replaced the following values in the URL for it to work via Intune: Replace %2D with – %7B with { %7D with } %3A with : %2F with / %2E with . Whoever signs into the device should get their libraries of any sharepoints that they are a member of, providing you have added the library ID in the GPO.
  4. So I can add " /a/schooldomain.com " to the end of Google Services links that we have to auto complete the domain, but still the 365 prompt is empty. Wondering if there is a 365 equivalent of the google syntax?
  5. Hi all, We are using Azure to sign into Google accounts using SSO. My question is, is there any way to autofill the email address the user has entered into the Google Service, to the 365 prompt when it appears? Failing that, is there any way to autofill with the domain? Currently users are having to enter their email address twice, once for the Google Service, and then again once again when the 365 prompt appears. Ideally I'd like them to only have to enter it once. Thanks!
  6. If doing this method you will notice that there is no option to import the passwords. Go to chrome://flags/ and enable the flag for 'Password import' and relaunch. You'll now see import when clicking the three dots near the Add button. EDIT: Or read Oaktech above...that will teach me for not reading the entire thread before posting🤦🏻♂️
  7. Would assume it is firewall related. This page may give you a hand. We use RM and we were able to set an auto updating firewall rule specifically for Intune.
  8. You can use in conjuction with 'convert synced team site files to online-only files'.

  10. Yeah that makes sense...I think sometimes those in position of saying 'I want this' haven't fully considered the move and what services need to be swapped or amended. In my opinion it should be gradual journey towards being serverless though. Can you get hosted SIMS or replacements for any local services that are cloud based? That could be a long term project and could also be a good argument to put forward for an 'in between' server like you mentioned.
  11. As above! Intune licenses are fairly cheap as well so this will be achievable for not much outlay. Any reason for not wanting to go serverless/fully cloud?
  12. Chocolate fudge brownie!
  13. Very PC, NewGen, Boxxe for software/hardware have all been very good in my opinon.
  14. +1 for Synology
  15. Just wondering if anyone is still seeing this issue or has had any feedback from Google from the support tickets you've raised?
  16. Synology DS920+. Easy to set up, restoring is a breeze and extremely cost effective.
  17. Agreed...and FREE!
  18. Same as above, it generally works really well for us across sites. What devices are you using for sign builder? As Chris_Cook says it could be a network issue?
  19. We moved away from RM Unify a little while back and it was the best thing we've done. Prices were rising for it too and we found it too clunky and overpriced for what it was.
  20. We created our own. Google Form converts to Trello card using Zapier. Working well for IT, Premises Team and Finance team so far. As someone else mentioned Microsoft Lists is also a good free option...you can also tie this in with a Microsoft Form which would be nice.
  21. A couple of users noticed this happening yesterday on a shared mailbox. It wasn't listed as an advisory in the admin centre so I submitted it myself. They investigated and concluded no errors, with the issue still remaining our end. Nice to know they did eventually pick up on it. All seems to be working fine now though...
  22. Agreed, the rackmount version is nice but you do pay a premium for it.
  23. Just over 400 users and around 30 sharepoint sites. I can't say I've had the need to look at the resource monitor to be fair.
  24. We use the Synology DS920+ with 4 x 4TB Ironwolf HDD's to backup our O365 tenancy. Once backup is completed (weekly) it shuts down and is effectively an offline backup and has been working flawlessly for us for the past few months. While I can't comment on the model you have mentioned, for us the DS920+ has been terrific and extremely cost effective.
