  1. Playing Alex Kidd on my brothers Sega Master-System. Just watched back a YouTube video of someone playing it...gave me major nostalgia!
  2. Hey, We used to use a company called RRIT to collect all of our obselete equipment/electrical waste. They would wipe all data and issue us with a certificate of destruction. We've been trying to get in contact with them this week but it looks as they are no longer in service. Just wondering if anyone else in the South West area knows of a company that is still in service doing this? We've been in touch with a few companies but they all want to charge us a fee. Thanks!
  3. Our DPO said 6 months would be the ideal retention. Would love that, but not sure I could get it approved here!
  4. We previously had our email retention set at 3 years, but upon a review with our DPO it was suggested we move this to 1 year. May provoke a few users into working differently but I definitely think 1 year or less should be standard.
  5. A lot of our users also reporting this problem
  6. Any way to do this/turn on by default for any new accounts being created, or will this need to be run periodically?
  7. Our users only use OWA so that is perfect. Thanks so much
  8. Hi all, Does anyone know if it is possible to set the 'Undo Send' 10 second delay for all mailboxes in 365 and if there is a powershell command to do so? Really want to implement this for everyone by default... Thanks!
  9. I asked ChatGPT and they said: To concatenate four cells alphabetically, you can use the following formula:=TEXTJOIN(" ",TRUE, SORT(A1:D1))Assuming that the four cells you want to concatenate are in the range A1:D1. This formula uses the SORT function to sort the values in alphabetical order and then the TEXTJOIN function to concatenate the sorted values into a single text string, with a space character as the separator. The second argument of TEXTJOIN, which is set to TRUE, tells the function to ignore empty cells. No idea if that works or not...
  10. Hi all, We are looking to formalise some in house IT Training for staff (at the moment just basics of how to use OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams effectively etc). I was just wondering if any of you were doing something similar and how you plan/resource your training material? If anyone has any existing slideshows etc that they wouldn't mind sharing so I can get some ideas that would be great. Also any basic topic ideas that may be beneficial to a range of school staff would again be much appreciated. Thanks!
  11. Did the workaround above work for you?
  12. An update from Google on this one for anyone following/having similar issues. Thank you for taking time to respond to this case. As there is an on going issue workaround with this issue, I would recommend you to perform this workaround at your end. Next Steps : 1.Advise the customer to turn off change password at next login setting for the users to bypass this issue. 2.Routing to correct component to further investigate why this is happening on the customer's end. This sorted the issue for us, but wary that this is only being referenced as a 'workaround'. Whatever the issue seems to be, they do seem to be taking an extremely long time fixing it.
  13. * and gentlewomen. We don't ask users to change passwords periodically for the reasons linked above.
  14. We use this... https://www.lieben.nu/liebensraum/2019/10/delete-user-profiles-older-than-a-specified-number-of-days-on-system-restart-through-intune/
  15. We are still seeing this issue with a select few users. After a lengthy wait from Google Support they have verified it is an issue their end. "I appreciate your patience, I have raised a consult to the product engineering team and upon investigating the issue they have confirmed that it is a known issue and our product engineering team is working on it. Please be rest assured once I get any more information from the team we will update you as soon as possible."
  16. We did this a few years back using Splashtop Personal https://www.splashtop.com/personal
  17. Locking screens is a really good practice to instill into people whether it be pupils or staff in my opinion
  18. Hmm Chrome has been updated on the device and is the most recent version, but still seeing the issue...
  19. Hi all, Seeing an issue that's only started today whereby users who are signed into Chrome are seeing the 'Verify that it's you' page on a loop. They click to verify, the page thinks, and then the verify page comes up again. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this? We've tried all the usual stuff...cache cleared, tried in an incognito window etc, but still no good. Not sure if it's related, but we SSO through Azure...this has been in place for quite a while now though and has been working seamlessly so far... Any advice/input would be much appreciated! Thanks!
  20. To be fair we only apply this for staff, and we had more issues with users signing into shared PCs, locking them and then wandering off for a week. All user data is backed up to OneDrive so no loss of any work by signing someone out. I've had it implemented for a little while now and had no complaints.
  21. We managed to configure a 'sign out' button on the lock screen...I just had a Google and couldn't for the life of me find out where I had followed instructions to do so. You may be a better Googler than me!
  22. Hadn't come across OSD Cloud before...gamechanger, thanks!
