Automatically Sync Team Site document library to Windows Explorer.
EssentialRug replied to FN-GM's topic in Cloud Services
We do this in Intune using "Configure Team Sites Libraries to Sync Automatically". What is the issue when you are trying to use this? I do agree it is a little annoying for onboarding new staff waiting the 8 hours before it syncs, but sometimes it does pop in much quicker than that. -
We also do this. Reimage the laptop, run script at OOBE to join Intune, assign deployment profile in Endpoint Manager using dynamic group tags and reboot.

Turns out I was being impatient...3 days later the policy has kicked in.

Looking to set retention policy for mail in O365 to delete all mail older than 3 years. Have attempted to set this in Compliance Manager > Information Governance and all looked successful, but on my test inbox all of the mail stays in the same place. Are there any other steps that I may be be missing, does the policy only work with new mail items or am I just being impatient and it will kick in after x hours/days? There is a confirmation message 'Items that are currently older than 3 years will be permanently deleted after you turn on this policy', but that doesn't seem to be the case. Many thanks

Using the WiFi configuration template profile, but obviously you've already tried this...

Interesting...I have a test machine working with Intune on Windows 11. Seems to have taken my existing WiFi settings and Print Deploy client and is happy with both of them. When you say Print Deploy won't detect your queues, do they not show up in your list of printers in the client?

Hi all, Just wondering what you guys do with Chromebooks that have reached their Auto Update Expiration. Do you offer these devices to parents? If so, are you wary of coming across as though you are happy to endorse/supply machines that may not have the latest security updates? Any opinions/reccomendations on what to do with these devices would be much appreciated! Many thanks!

Microsoft Intune Endpoint Protection- Login text
EssentialRug replied to EssentialRug's topic in Cloud Services
Couldn't figure out why it was applying for Windows 10 Pro but not Pro Education, so instead pushed these settings out using the custom template and all is now working well: ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/LocalPoliciesSecurityOptions/InteractiveLogon_MessageTitleForUsersAttemptingToLogOn ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/LocalPoliciesSecurityOptions/InteractiveLogon_MessageTextForUsersAttemptingToLogOn -

Microsoft Intune Endpoint Protection- Login text
EssentialRug replied to EssentialRug's topic in Cloud Services
Think this may be it...some machines are Windows 10 Pro, others Windows 10 Pro Education. Working on the Windows 10 Pro Machines, not on the Pro Education machines... -
Having an issue in Microsoft Intune setting a disclaimer before our users login. Some machines seem to get the policy and works fine, but others don't at all. Had a look at the configuration policy and it appears as though the login title and login text sections of the policy are only applying to a few machines, and the others it is deeming them 'not applicable'. These machines are identical and have an identical set of policies applied/member of groups. Wondering if anyone has the answer to this or has experienced this at all? Many thanks

RM are our ISP and manage our firewall. Apologies you said you had the same issue I figured that they were your ISP also. Who manages your firewall? -

Log a call with RM and ask them to unblock NTP port 123 for the IP address of your cloud key -
We have one of these installed at one of our schools...can confirm extremely bright in direct sunlight.

We aren't looking to renew our current RM Unify subscription at the end of the year, so wondering what others do for Chromebook filtering. We have been using RM SafetyNet Go (previously Buzz) with intermittent issues, and am aware that we would have to manually provision users into SafetyNet once our RM Unify subscription comes to an end. We are looking for something that will sync with Google Workspace and provide us with rich filtering reports and alerts. We are using Securly in one of the schools that we support but we signed up to this when the offering was free. Wondering if anyone uses the paid version of Securly and around how much it costs you...is it licensed per device, user or site? Also I notice they have a few different products on their page so any information on any of them would be helpful. Thanks

We also purchased these and are working great with the Vodafone sim cards

Hi guys, We currently have a number of schools with their own O365 tenancies which we are looking to bring into one. Does anyone have any advice/experience of migrating multiple O365 tenancies to a single O365 tenancy? Is there a way we can do this natively with tools from Microsoft or do we need to purchase a third party connector? Can we also move OneDrive/SharePoint data as well as inboxes? Any information at all or experiences of doing this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
