We have a bit of a condundrum that I hope someone has an answer to.We had a school which joined our Trust. The school were not a Google school but we had to share documents with them and add them to shared drives. We asked them to convert their existing domain email addresses to Google accounts as a quick fix so they could be added to shared drives. Now the school have created their own Workspace Fundamentals tenant using the same domain name but each time they log in they are asked if they want to sign in to their personal account or Organisation account. Is there any way to resolve this so that it is always the organisation account? Also does anyone know what happens with the documents and shared drive permissions that were given to those accounts before they were added to the Workspace Fundamentals domain? Will the shared items still be visible to them when the sign in with their organisation account?

We use Google Classroom and students upload their work there. We have not found a way for staff to have access to student Google drives but then not really had a need to with Google Classroom.

It's not the shared printers as the names are not the share names. How would I know if it is the printerdirect? Below is what it looks like.

We have a print server but we don't list the printers in the directory. They are mapped during logon via a script. When a user goes to printers and devices and clicks on "add a device" they can still see many printers listed there. How do I stop printers getting listed in here? Am I missing a step here to stop the printers getting listed?

We have checked the LCD cable is fully seated. We don't have a spare LCD. The odd thing is that the screen shows a cursor and you can move the cursor around the screen using the trackpad, just no display other than black screen with the cursor.

We have a Lenovo 100e that is just out of warranty and is only displaying a black screen with a cursor. We have tried a powerwash but it comes back the same. Anyone else seen this and know of a way to get it working again?

I have a user who is getting a weird issue. No other users who run reports from SIMS get this and all can enable macros to get the SIMS reports to open in Excel. This user gets a warning message at the top of the screen when the report tries to open in Excel and other users get the same warning with the option to "Enable macros". This user gets "options" instead and there is no button to enable the macros. The user has the same GPO's applied as everyone else. Clicking on Options and the below message pops up about a Capita Certificate having expired in 2015! Has anyone seen this and know what the issue could be?

No one can get to https://www.bbc.co.uk/news here as Smoothwall blocks it under Content of type Abortion ( Content filtering ) blocked. We havent changed any settings. Can someone else with Smoothwall please test this?

I would like to implement MTA-STS but we have no public webserver where we can host the policy file. I look after 3 sites so would need to host 3 policy files and thus create 3 subdomains. Does anyone know of a web host that won't break the bank just to host 3 text files?

We currently block Youtube for Students via Smoothwall but allow individual videos. Is there a way to allow a complete channel and all videos in it to be viewable? I can find KB articles to allow playlists but that's not the same as allowing a complete channel. For example I would like to allow all videos in https://www.youtube.com/c/DrFrostMaths/featured Is it possible please?

Does anyone know how to set up Smoothwall SMTP (Email) Output System to send email via G Suite? I have input the senders email address, username and password but when I try to send a test email nothing happens.

I have raised a ticket about this but thought I would post it here in case someone can help quicker than Smoothwall Support take to respond. Is there a way to stop the Youtube Mobile App working through Smoothwall in School? Seems to be a loophole for us at the moment as students who join the school WiFi get filtered via Smoothwall for everything done through the browser but Youtube App seems to work regardless. Any way to stop it connecting when on the School WiFi?
