Make sure the uplink is untagged on the switch vlan and all other vlans are tagged on the uplink -

Thats how we do it but it but our core is Aruba -

we just set a default gateway on our aruba access switches, only ip and subnet are defined on the core -

So After my previous post yesterday which got sorted (Thanks for the help on that) Did some further testing today to find that i can't connect to anything in the internal network (expect the vpn server which i can rdp into via its internal ip) The vpn server has a single vnic so need for natting i believe ? Tested on windows and mac os

Can't get My vpn to work externally (working internally) using Server 2016 as the vpn server ,what ports do i need to forward, ive already done udp 4500 and udp 500 , do i need to open anything else ? Thanks

Easy fix , had to bypass the rd server on smoothwall, Head just wasn’t working the other day

Bit of an odd one if i turn my smoothwall proxy off on my pc i can access the rd web client fully working etc, but if i re enable the proxy i get "we are unable to connect to the remote pc error" It works fine externally Thanks

we had a proxy defined in the NET 4 Machine.config File c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\config\machine.config

Use Spiceworks Helpdesk Prioritize tasks on a number of things, Is it a big Class (Before Covid), Is it a quick task eg a password reset, if bigger tasks come through eg a printer move tends to be done on what i call an "off peak" time or day

Still a load of machines to image to 1909 , Haven’t even bothered upgrading dcs to 2019 as I’ve ran out of time , still got a whole IT Suite to deploy Tuesday Good luck everyone!

No I haven’t , this is a fresh install of the html5 client I did yesterday and I imported my rds ssl via power shell

Getting this Error when trying to connect to an app on rdweb html5, Its showing the servers internal cert on the error, even though ive installed a vaild Cert "Your session ended because an unexpected server authentication certificate" Thanks
