    we use redstor to back up vms, but you can restore the VM regardless of the host ive found

    I Am unable to change the IP of a fresh zabbix appliance i have got off there website... Im just getting permission denied when trying to edit eth0 config (/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0) although i am logged in as root Any ideas? Thanks

    I would give the bursar a secondary admin account with local admin privilege. We have a technicians group on the domain which gives them local admin privileges. We Run a script what adds them at logon. With the below command net localgroup "Administrators" /add "DOMAIN\Technicians"

    If your host is on a vlan you will need ip helpers

    we use Aruba for our Core and access switches, We have the 2920 which is now discontinued . i think the 2930f is the newest similar switch to that one, We got ours from Bt business direct

    We use there cloud version which is a azure vm they host , you still get access to the back office and everything just no server to manage

    Turns out our service account what syncs AD to our email filters expired. If only I thought about that before It would of saved me hours !

    So... I have a new user who can send and receive internal emails fine. But as soon as its an external address they just bounce back. The user is the same as all other accounts in 0365 and exchange properties are the same Any ideas? Thanks

    i have never found issues doing it on our adfsproxy server or our rd gateway, so im guessing no difference for exchange as its IIS

    Are you switches gigabit? seems that there is a bottleneck somewhere

    Are they the same make/model, id check for windows updates or driver updates

    We are using unifi have no complaints , using the ac pro access points with the gen1 controller

    Make sure the switch is set to internal or external

    im guessing this is a lab? What hypervisor are you using you should be able to setup a virtual switch

    Default gateway is your router, or Vlan address if you use vlans

    if you was going to replace the system i would either go with unifi aruba or ruckus
