    Just got round to installing it on my series x, lots of goodies in the box, stickers etc. It's Currently installing a 40GB Update hopefully this fixes some bugs!

    The Hp is a gen 6 . It has 16gb of ram and two dual xeons can’t remember what models , used it as my hyper v host In my homelab until I’ve moved to a newer server. Dell has 2gb of ram and a Xeon cpu I think it’s a dual core , Used this a fair few years ago to run my 2008 R2 Dc was a solid machine when I was learning AD

    It shouldn’t do, we use redstor and windows backup on a few vms

    So... I’ve recently setup a vm solely for Keepass password manager and locked it down quite heavily. I was storing passwords in a password protected excel sheet before. How are you storing passwords? Maybe the dedicated VM is a bit overkill ?

    We Use Zabbix on a Ubuntu Box, We Use the free version of PRTG as a backup monitoring as we've had some issues with zabbix

    Are the Permissions Correct? Try browsing to D$ and see what that says

    Rule Name- Put what you want the rule to be called Source address- That would be goto's ip range's/ addresses Destination Address- This is where you want the traffic to be allowed. Destination Protocol - what ports/services you want allowed Description- Put what the ports open/allow Action- Permit

    are you using a proxy ? we had to define ours in netsh to get this to work and also whitelist the list of IP's and also bypass ssl inspection for those domains it uses

    I've had an automated 020 number phone me a fair few times over the past few days claiming to be HMRC claiming i have been dodging tax!

    It hasn't really affected it tbf, we are using Server 2016/2019 and we still haven't used half of our activation's for our server licenses within our VL Agreement

    Thanks , all of our servers do one role with the exception of one or two.

    How many vms do you have on prem these days? We have 27 spread over two hosts

    We do this as well ours point to our isp dns and we have Google’s as a backup
