  1. Yeah we did this recently email [email protected] with someone senior at the school emailed in and say you want them to change the IPS TAG we used Heart for .sch.uk domains so it was HEARTINTERNET. They can also provide a DNS Export.
  2. Anything but TeamSOS their Intune install process is a mess.
  3. Hey everyone Just wondering if anyone has a AlphaInteractive Touch Driver laying around anywhere we have a board with the pen tools not working and gestures not being recognized but looks like their company is now gone. Am I all out of luck?
  4. Morning all TYIA Over the summer we rolled out Windows 11 to our Touchscreens that have an On Board PC in the OPC slot. During testing etc this was not an issue. However for some of our 30+ screens this morning I'm getting reports that on the login screen when they tap the username box the On Screen Keyboard is not popping up as it used to making them unable to sign in. I've changed a reg key to set the automatically show setting but this seems to have not helped. Has anyone else seen this happen?
  5. We are in the South West and use it for a small group of PRU's who have no on site storage and rely on CDM entirely.
  6. If you're using GPO I believe you can Hide Specific SSID's Open the group policy console (Start > gpedit.msc > Enter) Go to: Computer Configuration > Policies > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies Click on "Action" in the menu and then click on "Create A New Wireless Network Policy for Windows Vista and Later Releases" Give the policy a name and a description Go to the "Network Permissions" tab Click "Add" and enter in the SSID you want to block and make sure "Permission" is "Deny" Uncheck allow user to view denied networks Click "OK"
  7. Was trying this out for a bit of fun but can't seem to get your script to run not sure if it's cause how the post formatted it. Seems to be gaps in $destination etc
  8. We just had an install from Anderson Tiger. They installed Virtual DJ Pro on our Studio for us and Jazzler for Jingles etc
  9. We use Sync Centre/Offline Files you can set this as a GPO or Intune Policy and point it to your redirected desktop share. Then as long as the user signs in on site before taking it home it should then keep a copy.
  10. We recently setup a Data Collection Policy in Intune so we can see if our devices were Windows 11 Ready under Endpoint Analytics > Work from Anywhere > Windows. We had a lot of devices showing as needing a System Firmware Update so we carried these out over 24 Hours ago but they are still showing in Endpoint Analytics as requiring them. Does anyone happen to know how often these reports update and look for any changes? Had a look around Microsoft Documentation but can't seem to find any real answer.
  11. Just spitballing but could you set the YouTube Restricted Mode through Google Admin Console? Manage your organization's YouTube settings - Google Workspace Admin Help
  12. We used PaperCut Print Deploy Client deployed to the PC's via inTune in then picks up their AD credentials and maps the printers to them. I think they also have a cloud client if you want them to print from home. How to deploy print queues using Microsoft Intune and Print Deploy | PaperCut Azure AD Connect also works well for SSO stuff
  13. I've just got a M1 Pro Macbook Pro 16GB 1TB Model and I love it the speakers are amazing some of the best I've heard on a laptop and the display is super vibrant. Also haven't had any compatibility issues and all apps I need are native so far so no complaints here.
  14. I was doing some testing with this yesterday I think you want to download and install NoMAD Login rather than that standard NoMAD from here Support | NoMAD Then I ran the following terminal which got me past a authentication error and made it so I don't have to type username@domain and just the username sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/menu.nomad.login.ad ADDomain YOURDOMAINGOESHERE.TLD (Change .TLD to .local or .internal or whatever you use, I believe you can also push this and other settings via MDM) Then it should work
  15. For point 1 you probably want to look a custom URI setting to hide the settings pages (/Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Settings/PageVisibilityList) then you can hide the personalisation page, you can also deploy a setting to prevent users changing the wallpaper I believe this is a device restriction - Hide settings pages in Windows 10 with Microsoft Intune | Peter Klapwijk - In The Cloud 24-7 (inthecloud247.com) 2 You can export the applocker policies from GPO and import them to intune. How to implement AppLocker with the Intune | Askme4Tech
  16. We are having issues with embedded YouTube Videos on our Office Pro Plus 2021 LTSC. If we try to play it as a user we get the following error but if we play as a admin or domain admin it works fine. If checked all our IE Options as I believe PowerPoint still uses parts of IE for add ons but the settings all seem to match, I've also put exceptions in our filtering to allow a CDN it was trying to get to. Strangley this works fine in Windows 11 Education Just not Windows 10 using the same version of office GPO's etc. If anyone has any ideas let me know as I'm a little stumped.
  17. We use CT Secure Cloud Backup for Office 365 & Teams | Central Technology (ct.co.uk) they are very good and use Veeam
  18. We use abbreviations for example PBS-AD-001 so PBS Identifying the site, AD meaning Admin Desktop then a number.
  19. We are currently Hybrid too we are now pushing more over from GPO. We now do pretty much all our Apps through intune including PaperCut Deploy App to deploy our Follow You Printer. With Policies we've moved a lot of our Computer Configuration GPO's over as they apply at device level but have also activated the "MDM wins over GPO" setting so GPO is there as a fallback. The issue we found is a lot of our devices can be logged into by either staff or students and the user level policies seem to take an amount of time to apply through intune vs group policy where it applies on login so it's just not reliable enough for us yet to do user level.
  20. Have you checked the Application Properties where you assign it make sure install as removable is yes
  21. I know with Chromium Edge you can force install extensions silently. In the Group Policy Editor, go to Administrative Templates> Microsoft Edge > Extensions > and then select Control which extensions are installed silently. Select Enabled. Click Show. Enter the app ID or IDs of the extension or extensions you want to force-install. Source: Use group policies to manage Microsoft Edge extensions | Microsoft Docs As a caveat there is no way to force this to stay on in inprivate/incognito browsing but you can get users to manually turn this on or block inprivate completely.
  22. Our Local Authority is advising we do not commit to anything and looks like they are dropping LA combined contracts URGENT: Advice for all schools using ESS SIMS | Support Services for Education
  23. Hi Stephen, Just out of interest how are you doing your 1:1 on iPads are you using forced logins or pushing a username variable? We use intune and you can't push username variables to iOS devices with it.
  24. We are considering a move to Arbor from SIMS after getting a few demo's. We also have FMS so it would be interesting to know what people moved to for doing finance.
