Anyone know where we can purchase a half dozen or so of those stick on signs for vehicles please. The particular signs are those ones for school children carrying vehicles - yellow and black in colour with an older person silhouetted with a child walking.

We have a new classroom coming into use within the next few months. It used to be sleeping accommodation but the internal walls are going and it's going to be a dedicated ICT Classroom. I have been asked to get it set up as a premium quality facility. We are a KS3 EDB School with maximum class size of 8. One of our Assistant Heads used to be in an Exeter RM kitted school which he tells me had a herringbone set up down the middle of the room so the teacher had full view at all times of what the happy chappies were up to. Also, by the sound of it they had thin clients. We aren't going the thin client route but perhaps some all in ones with decent spec and screen might be the answer. Recommendations would be appreciated on both the PCs and the desk set up please.

We are having issues with a few Brother Multifunction Inkjet printers at the moment. In a nutshell they fail to print consistently. Despite head cleaning etc one fails to print clearly in black but is OK in colour. Another started changing colours today - like dropping yellow and green. New cartridges have made zip difference?

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong part of the Forum. Over the Summer we had two HP procurve switches put in along with new cabinets and a fiber link. All works fine apart from where we have the fiber going to a Cisco switch. That fails to pick up the network. Tried a new GBIC but to no avail. Any suggestions please - in language that's not going to faze me please!!

Seems to be OK now - looks like it was a combination of DHCP not restarting it'self after it's dormant period then the proxy setting of GP not having been picked up by the DC itself!

I have not had a chance to delve properly yet but it looks like the actual Network is connecting - the issue seems to be that we can't get the Internet. Having said that there is nothing live on the Network yet other than the second DC and the Mini Mac Server.

I've got a little problem! School electrical rewire over the summer but servers were kept live but did not have network access. Part of the rewire included some fibre between two new HP Pro-curve switches. All back on today but initially the DHCP Server was not handing out DNS Addresses. Restart of service fixed that. Currently only local access, router pings ok but refuses to give Internet. Also trying to get the HP switch to talk over fibre to a Cisco switch downstairs is not working despite the supplier telling me the Gbic is correctly configured. Any thoughts please?

Not Hansprees then! We had a load of them and annoyingly too many have gone u/s not so long out of warranty. Strange defect the power light flashes a series of blue and yellow, got a feeling it was an internal fuse issue but they seem almost impossible to open up.

Thanks for that Cache. I ended up doing a restore to just before the last time it picked up updates. Then ran various - MalwareBytes etc to ensure it was clean. Updates now running sweetly.

Arthur with many numbers is spot on. However, we looked into this and ended up comparing The SIMS offering with Bromcom's Teachers Web Folder Bromcom - Teacher's WebFolder there is a side by side chart somewhere which displays exactly what each system brings.
