So your happy to answer any questions @PaulZoom but but your replies so far look like they are from a script. I think the reputation of Zoom with many on here is not great so why should people choose you over other options?

You get what you see, no chances all the electricals will work unless its been tested. Bidspotter is another site for things like this. I have a pair of boots I wear from time to time or if not in the office although not a necessary thing I find my Magnums really comfy, they are the most expensive footwear I own!! I do know that some tenders are written in a way to favour such suppliers by putting lines in there that other suppliers cannot meet therefore knocking them off the list. Easily done, a transformer and a few bells, might just need a transformer than can handle a few bells on it, they should draw minimum anyway.

A suggestion, what about a tablet and leave the phone as it is? Tablet is bigger and would be easier to use, my Dad recently went smart and we started him off with a tablet, he does have a smart phone now which he struggles with as its small but got to grips using a tablet first.

I'm not a school but much of network relies on KCom plus a mix of what users have at home and I don't find too many issues although I don't use it day in day out like some but our Service Desks guys don't complain and there on it all day. There are times when it does drop and there have been some KCom issues recently I'm told but nothing what I would call major. Currently in the process of adding more staff onto it and removing the handsets that are in the office now that the majority are remote working and everyone now pretty much had a laptop too.

LinITX & 4Gon are names I am familiar with, my friend uses them for his business, I use BroadBandBuyer for my networking needs at home but if the other 2 come cheaper I get my friend to get it and I'll get it via him.

Why make such a simple task more complicated that it needs to be. What is wrong with a wired push button to bell wired into the mains, be far cheaper and more reliable.

Although we don't use 3CX at work we use a hosted system which is a BroadSoft based system we have little to do with it, if the net goes down then users have mobile phones if its urgent. If you can get a system hosted I'd go for it, one less thing to worry about.

Unifi, we are just about to replace what remaining Aruba kit we have with Unifi too. Aruba kit been good but Unifi is the way now for us with WiFi, already got several hundred AP's out there. Still use Aruba switching, I prefer them anyway over the Unifi switches for what we need.

On desktops and laptops it should be standard when ever a machine is reimaged at our place, as I don't work desktop side not sure about general site visits if its done then. We have been looking at pushing them out via Desktop Central our patch management system, we run Dell and Lenovo kit so easy enough to do and my laptop was used as test and was no issues. Over the years I've upgraded hundreds of Dell machines and never had an issue, last week was the first time I was look at a laptop out of work, laptop was a refurb, was on version 06 and latest was 22, had issues with BIOS password and booting following a OS reinstall but got there in the end.

All good and well using Dynamic DNS but its only ever going to show you the gateway IP as most devices only ever get a CGNAT IP rather than true external address.

I recently upgraded the PC ours was running, took a backup using the config tool, restored it back in the same way. Kept same IP address the machine was on and bob's your uncle.

@enjay I'll let you have a read when you can, its quite lengthy. @paulkerton know exactly where you are coming from, I've seen it with my own eyes so called managers like this. Yes there is a place for this kind of software but you have to trust your staff.

Is your internet connection up to it? In theory should be no issues, I've never worked on a site with the data centre/server local to the LAN its always been remote and never caused an issue other than outages on connections.

What version of the driver are you using? Do you have codes on the copier? Can you print a windows test page ok? What application are you using to print the JPEG?
