Hi all We seem to be having a little issue with our Xibo instance! We set the layout up (with a background) .... add a text region in and try and preview it on a test machine. The background comes up, with no regions - and after a certain amount of time a W7 crash comes up (XiboClient stopped working). Thanks all for replies. @BKGarry -it's SUCH a weird one! We are just (!!) rolling out AM7 here in the school and the tech department always mark the childs work once they have left the class. Once they have left the class - for registration purposes, their teacher is changed (so they can't access the marksheet!). I know there may be some other ways of doing it, but I decided to create a UDG and assign it that way. I know its a faf! @Sivadam + @BKGarry - I thought it may be that previous classes not active but not sure the way to approach it! It wouldn't suprise me here as I am finding lots of things still active on the system that shouldn't be. @Sivadam - thanks for having a look at this for me. Hopefully my support desk will come up trumps! Thanks all

This is the bane of my life and from what I have read, the only way to properly rectify this is to backup every day. I read one of the main consequences of this is that the Exchange DB becomes "inconsistent". Off the top of my head, it is possible you can rectify this using eseutil - but not at my computer so can't look.

Is it a mapped network drive? If so try disconnecting and reconnecting to it

If network capacity was an issue, I would always save to an external hdd. We use this on 6 now ancient quad core machines that run premiere. With the 13 macs which we have got which will be used for video editing, they save to their home directory located on our nice EMC san!

Yes Mike you are correct it's a course marksheet and I find it incredibly strange too, I think this is where the problem lies. Thanks - just the answer I needed and the results will be removed next week and finding out why this has been done will begin! Thanks all for your sound advice.

Yes! Are they using mandatory profiles? The quick fix was to move to Roaming (ok not a fix just a resolution) but would love to hear what you come up with.

Hi there, I am after a bit of advice really/confirmation that I am signing on the correct hymn sheet! We have an issue where a member of staff, don’t ask me how, has entered in Mock Grades/sent them over to exams in a ResGF column in SIMS. I have been tasked with sorting this out; and have taken advice from my LA team but would really like to hear from any other SIMS Officers, Managers or Exam Officers who understand exams much more than I do! http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/8681/exams1.png Now, the problem is that this is not a certificated exam but it appears on the students exam broadsheet/exam details in SIMS as so! As you can see, there is a forecast grade in there … am I right in saying I can just remove entries from this column/aspect as the proper exam hasn’t actually been taken yet?
