All I am setting up TMG and we have two upstream proxies 192.168.72.101 for Students and Staff 192.168.72.102 for Unfiltered Access I am just setting up TMG to handle our filtering and for the Students we would like to add in the 192.168.72.101 proxy as the web chaining rule so if it isn't filtered by our TMG it is filtered by their proxy box and would like to have staff on the filtered by us or unfiltered approach. The way I thought about doing this is having two external networks (I have enough NICs) but when I add an external network in TMG it asks for IP addresses (the built in one doesn't). I then thought about redirecting staff through the 2nd external nic and then set up a web chain rule for that for the unfiltered proxy. Is this possible and how do I set up the 2nd external nic in TMG? Thanks, Richard

Yes it does come as a pkg so I assume providing you can find the plist it should be fine however just was easier for us to do it on the image

Yes, it should be. With Sibelius 6 we have the licence server on the Mac Server. We then install it on the imaging machine, make sure it authenticates against the licence server then deploy the image and all works fine! Hope this helps

Used to be, I haven'th ad any issues at all with 10.7.3+. I use .local (str.local) and it works fine. Just make sure your DNS is all OK In terms of Exchange there are no issues as long as you set the MX handler on the external domain and sort the email address policies out Good luck!

Hi all, A question I hope is quick to answer! We are upgrading the mac minis here to Lion and everything seems to be working fine (Even on our .local domain shock horror!) just a bit concerned about one thing though. The home directory (\\godric\students$\username) on SNOW LEOPARD is mounted as a "home" directory in the finder however it is not apparent on the Lion install. However the documents part of the lion screenshot below stores itself on the "document" folder in the users home directory so redirection is working. How can I make the home directory reappear? If it is hardware on your network you should be given access (full root access) and you should be controlling the access you give the LA!

I'd go for the Satellite install aswell, theoretically some kind of SSL VPN solution can work but can be bandwidth intensive

We had the issue here and it was to do with Autodiscover settings, are you using TMG out of interest?
