Are there many establishments using Mac Servers instead of Windows or Linux?

Hello all I was wondering whether you could help me with something? My Moodle box is an IIS7 server with 64gb of RAM and 24 cores running 2k8r2! We have just moved this over and all the moodledata files seem to be in tact! However on some coursres which have a lot of data in, the "add a resource" file window takes forever to come up/files to upload, however course with hardly any data in is fine. Link to the storage array which holds all Moodle data and mySQL data is not a problem either, with a 10gb link and all other websites load fine. Any assistance would be appreciated Kind regards Richard

What I intend to do is measure how many people log on to the SLG by Forefront TMG logs.

Hi all I am having ab it of an issue. I have got SCCM working and am deploying the "out of the box" WIM (from the windows CD!). Everything else seems to be applying and whatnot, however the device drivers seem not to be applying! Obviously this iscausing problems. I am just trying to image another machine another machine, however I know the drivers for that machine exist so am at a loss! It's a dell Optiplex 780 (the new form ones!) Many thanks Richard

I agree with the DeployStudioers, setting up a different workflow; in your case restore to the Windows Partition, is a breeze

I just create a Scheduled Task on each machine (through GPP's) to c:\windows\shutdown.exe (with an argument) to shut down at a certain time and can be controlled/updated via GPP. Works a treat!

Just to bring up an old thread, DesktopRefresh.exe worked perfectly for me! Thanks!

have you examined the mail queues in exchange to see if any traffic is coming in? It sounds like an ISA problem? Turn on logging on the ISA box, if it is denied connections it should show you .... was good when I was examining some issues we had Just some thoughts

Hi all I think this may be the wrong forum so mods; please feel free to move it if needs be! We are just setting up a new MOSS 2010 environment and are looking to set up Document Libraries . We have the base install of MOSS on the local drive of the server, however we would like to redirect the Document Library to store its files in the D drive of the server rather than the C; which is an iSCSI partition from our EMC NAS. I may be missing something but is this possible and if so can anyone give me any ideas on how to achieve this please? Thanks Richard

Hi all One of my big projects for our team include aligning all processes to ITIL/Prince2 practices including all Change Control requests, service desk management, service transition. I was wondering if any of you had any examples of how you use this in your environment? It would be much appreciated? Thanks Richard
