Anyone got a guide of how to get this activating with no user input? As when using C2R it requires a user to sign in (and use on of their user 365 PC licenses) or enter a key of some sort on first use.

Ironically tried using the Click To Run (C2R) installer for Proplus after Cache's post last night. It does work... but... volume activation can not be done. Someone has to sign in to activate it and each account appears to be limited to 5 activations. So, until there is a way to resolve that one... I wonder why they have additional functionality in the C2R installer that's not in the native msi based Office 2016 which most organisations would be using.

Do you use the Exa Helpdesk system? Very useful if like me you're hardly near a phone https://help.exa.net.uk and you can select the specific product or service you have an issue with which in theory should go to the right team. Also I find it easier to follow.

That's odd... as you are a new customer you would be using the Quantum filtering then. With the original version I could enter an internal IP range in, but when we moved over the Quantum, from what I understand, the person that migrated us at Exa had to tie an the internal IP range we dedicated to a Surfprotect rule to an external address and then use that on the filtering. I wasn't required to do anything except install the AD sync software on the server (basically running a couple of PowerShell scripts). This is our Internal device settings, as you can see, it's using an IP range outside of our 10. range LAN. Are you talking to Exa directly, or speaking to a 3rd party? It's still encrypted, it's just the method of decrypting is different, Bitlocker without TPM is like any other encryption without TPM. It's password protected. The TPM under certain conditions allows automatic unlocking of the drive on bootup without the need for a password.

Bit of an odd one. I've setup Office 365 message encryption capabilities... strange thing is, I don't get the Encrypt template option in Outlook 2016, but do in Outlook 365. Any ideas?

Too bad the Windows Subsystem for Linux in Windows 10 doesn't support block devices (https://github.com/Microsoft/WSL/issues/689), otherwise it could be used there as well.

Spinright isn't a bad price either, running at $89... though I wonder if it would be any use when the world finally moves everything over to SSDs. Some time I go, I know.

Excellent... though can you add music to it? (Don't worry, only kidding.) That's... brilliant... out of interest you VB screensaver which is really an exe renamed to scr... did you need to add any coding to make it disappear on mouse move, or is that controlled by the OS? I could try and find out myself but... effort.

Only suggestion I would have is to turn off the VM, and copy over the VHD/VHDX files to the USB drive, then manually setup a new machine on the other HyperV server with the same settings (and MAC address, if you set a static one), and replace the VHD/VHDX files with the ones you copied to the USB.

There were a fair few complaints about Schoolsbroadband and Lightspeed a few months ago, and some issues on that front. I don't know if things have got better now, but @SchoolsBroadband should be able to update on that. We use Exa over at the Primary School, a FTTC connection, support is usually very good, always very helpful. If they are busy they may need a poke, but I find that common of everywhere. Generally I find they talk to you on a technical level as well, which is always great not getting scripted responces. @exa_mark is usually found reading the forum as well.

I do. It's a very nice and quick built-in utility that also removes formatting.
