  1. Did you want another political thread? ;)
  2. Just so you know, there is a English International version of Windows 10 on VLSC, it was there when the English (US) was released. Must be something up if you can't select that Language before downloading.
  3. 1) The link doesn't work. 2) It is satirical/spoof news. (Source: ABOUT SNN | SOUTHEND NEWS NETWORK)
  4. Reinstalled Windows 10 1803 and it's been working fine for the last couple of days, all up to date. Strange...
  5. If it's any help in case of filtering, the URL is mms://audio.bl.uk/media/education/stimler3.wma
  6. Eventually it played in media player for me.
  7. Half Life 3 Portal 3
  8. Well... I have one secret about me that I was planning to take to my grave... but...
  9. Little easier said then done though isn't it? The transparent proxy is using SSL inspection as provided. I guess Exa might be able to change the transparent proxy with a bit of work for a certain IP range, though as another ISP provider you would know better than I. Though, I will say as people are moving over to SSL websites, plain old http filtering by itself will become less useful over time and let things slip through the net.
  10. Though I will point out that if you Thank someone before clicking on the Star it won't work. As they are one of the last people you have given Rep to, in the smaller form of Thanks. If you unthank them, then click the star, add your comment, click ok (and ironically you an re-thank them after this), you could give them the additional Rep points.
  11. Unfortunately this is a shortcoming of SSL filtering. You can install a captured portal to redirect web traffic to a certain webpage first, but if the page they try to get to is HTTPS, they are going to get that untrusted message. What I have done is put it under the view of people have to read an agreement to use the web for personal use, and they have that they get instructions to go to http://byod/ which hosts a webpage to access and install the certificate, which has a brief explanation on there why it is needed.

  13. Taking from the username that @Ravi_GreatFind has chosen. I assume that this is the webpage @zak514. https://www.greatfindrecruitment.com/job/it-systems-administrator/
  14. I haven't... as I already deployed 1803 out to all those machines, as ironically my one was working fine (including with HyperV) for several weeks. I'll give that a go, cheers.
  15. Both server and client report fine. HyperVs are both HyperV Server 2012 R2 with latest updates, client is Windows 10 Education 1803 with latest updates.
  16. Both the Server and the Machine are updated with the correct KB though... I tried it anyway and unfortunately it didn't work. Also apparently I can't upgrade to HyperV Server 2016 as I don't have SLAT on the processor, so that stops my 2016 testing.
  17. As I am running Hyper-V Server 2012 V2, I'm going to try and see if an upgrade on the non-critical one to Hyper-V Server 2016 makes and difference as I am running out of ideas.
  18. Doesn't appear to be. All been set previously of course, and re-ran the commands when I found that too. Just said it was already setup.
  19. First point of call. I did, but no dice. It appears to be effecting both the HyperVs here as well.
  20. Strangely 2 weeks ago, both clients and servers have the patch installed so I could remote desktop to it.
  21. Has anyone come across this message? HyperV has been working fine for a year, but now is refusing connection. Can't find anything helpful online, and the Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management service is running.
