  1. "I have to poke all these people back on facebook" I just checked and you can still poke people but no sign of being able to throw sheep or slap them with a wet fish
  2. Most of what I remember about Slot 1/A processors was that the heatsinks on them there the sharpest things known to man.
  3. Stupid question but have you checked it's not auto volume control on the TV. Mine does the same so it's probably not that but worth checking.
  4. I'd imagine it'd be pretty fiddly to play on a gamepad. Is there a free trial?
  5. I'm planning on upgrading to 5.5 next week, I'll let you know how mine goes once done.
  6. iTalc has the ability to output a teacher computer to a whole suite of computers.
  7. Weren't they free anyway but you had to buy the extra instruments through in app purchases, is the whole thing free now then?

I picked my son up a reconditioned Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Windforce the exact same card that I have in my PC, I put it in my PC and ran 3D Mark to check it was ok and it scored 200 points more than mine on Firestrike, I was expecting a difference but not that much, can identical cards really leave the factory with that much of a variation in performance? Screenshot, Results 1 and 4 were my card, 2 and 3 are his.
  9. Just my Virgin Superhub and a couple of 500mb powerline network adaptors going to my gaming pc and my xbox does the job just fine.
  10. I've had a similar problem but with a physical server that provides DNS and print services, I tried various different things to fix it but nothing worked, I didn't want to flatten it and start fresh so I just setup a reboot script that triggers every night at 3am, not an ideal solution but short of starting fresh it keeps the server working without having to remember to reboot it.
  11. ^this so much!
  12. RGB Lighting is amazing and needs to be on more stuff.
  13. almost looks like the back of a monitor
  14. I'm sure if the Bank of England decide to go back to paper notes, you'd get people complaining about the destruction of rain forests to make them, it's the old adage, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Never played a Persona game myself but I have plenty of friends that rate the series in their top games.
  16. I seem to accumulate old laptops, I managed to snag 4 Toshiba core 2 duo's a couple of years ago when we were throwing them out here for my kids, they are now all sat in a box along with laptops that have belonged to friends and family after I've declared them dead, I don't know why but throwing out a laptop just seems wrong. Other than that the only ones I have are my gaming/media server in the bedroom, mini Aopen pc acting as a kodi box in the lounge and my Work laptop sat behind the sofa (only gets used when I'm on Annual leave to keep check on the school systems and as I never seem to get any leave it never gets used)
  17. Because people be stupid.
  18. @Garacesh I think it's more the wrongly dated ones you want to look out for.

That does look really good from the videos I've seen, the only thing putting me off is the play area seems to decrease in size very quickly.
  21. So are CDs and itunes downloads unless you have a license, which I'm pretty sure schools (in England) do thanks to the government. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/copyright-licences-information-for-schools
  22. you can but only if they are paid for by the school
  23. I've asked me for a quote on each, I'll see what the price difference is before deciding.
  24. Premier is really good for doing stuff like that, you can move things about all over the screen pretty easily. Most of the footage I get is really bad because the Teachers and TA's film it, we do a lot of green screen filming and no matter how many times I tell them the camera needs to remain still for stuff like that it's always all over the place, it's a right challenge getting something usable out of that. This was the last video I had to do, you can see some of the footage I have to work with in this. Discovery Primary School - E-Safety
  25. Has anyone used Hypertec SSDs, Are they reliable? I'm looking at doing a rolling replacement of all the spinning disks in the school and asked my supplier for quotes on either Intel or Samsung drives and he's asked if I would consider Hypertec, I use Hypertec memory in my gaming PC at home but I've never tried their drives and can't seem to find any reviews from reliable sources.
