We're getting up to around 120 cameras here now, and there's a very "relaxed" attitude about CCTV. I'd like to get some training on this and move towards some sort of compliance (if there is such a thing for a private system?). Has anyone any training courses/ideas I could go on to try and influence the management about the misuse?

This, plus the "I've forgot and I'm out" or genuine PC issues at irregular times. With 1600 kids, there's always someone. But yes, now £295 a year if you can meet the requirements. Think we might not! -
Has anyone else received a massive checklist regarding card payments from Parentpay? Seems to be a compliance thing from the PCI Security Standards for when a member of staff inputs card details given over the phone. I don't think we'd comply with the massive list I've just glanced at! Any advice?

Yes, we're 3rd year in a 3 year. I've budgeted for a 50% increase next year to be safe. Millgate is our current supplier, but I went through the Framework and they were still the cheapest on this occasion.

To be fair, ours were £36 after quotes. I think this is pretty good value (127 FTE but 1800 users!)

We're Avigilon, with a mix of old Panasonic cameras, Avigilons and some cheaper Hikvision. Good system, but pricey comparably. A lot easier to use though!

My card is full of films and music. That's why I want a crad slot, although besides that the Pixel 3a looks good. Need something to replace my S8, with it's blurry camera!

I understand your point, but £650 installed for an 80" image for projectors?? Our current have lasted 7 years, and we're only replacing 10 out of 80 so far. Anyway, DLP vs not DLP please! We have some screens, it's not like they don't get to use them. They want to teach with projectors in these venues.

Hi, we're replacing 10 older NEC UST projectors. We're being quoted some BenQ DLP, and some Hitachi "normal" ones too, among others. What are the benefit of the DLP? The Tech specs say the lamp life is a little shorter, and the lamps are more expensive, but I don't know the overall benefits in real life of a DLP?? BTW, all 10 department/teachers want a replacement projector rather than any sort of TV/screen. They have to be UST.
