Primary school here. Years R, 1, 2 and 3 don't have Papercut accounts, we get them to save to a shared drive and Teachers/TAs print from there.

I did wonder if that was the case, the splash screen mentions NetSupport when you open the management console.

Installed and had a play with RM Tutor today. It looks like it will do all we need it to. Can't vouch for it's use on a vanilla network nor can I comment on any of the other options mentioned above

We do exactly this. And we take the view that many things done in schools are long winded due to policy and this is just another case of that. People seem to understand

We did discuss allowing universal access but worried about the potential for rogue activities on such a public site. We still capture a very broad view of the school's achievements using the limited access approach we take.

We have a Twitter and its used daily to tweet about school achievements. It has restricted access being the Head, Computing Coordinator, PE Teacher and myself (NM). We would never put more than a first name and perhaps the child's year on there and only with the necessary "school photos being published" waiver signed by parents

I give them the Class Teacher permissions too but also leave the TA permissions on them so I can filter easily

Afternoon All, We are currently going over our E-Safety policy and the question about wearable technology has come up. We do not permit the use of mobile phones and any other personal technology that can send/receive data and that can take pictures within the classroom or around children. Staff are permitted to use their mobile phones in the staff room and areas that children do not have access to. Before we ban the use of smart watches etc we would like to get an idea of what other schools are doing? Thanks, Tom.

Yeah it is shocking! 5 years later they have seen little to no use and are now being sold to staff for around £350 a go. The guy/idiot who was NM before me thought that scratching the school's address on to the back of them with a compass was what one does!

They've been in a cupboard ever since my arrival 4 years ago, same with the £15000 worth of SMART Tables and £25000 worth of Macbooks

You mentioned you were tall Localzuk! Have you got a bike in mind yet? I would highly recommend a Honda Varadero 125... Honda stopped making them in 2013 (I think) but have just released a load of old stock, registered 2017. They're an excellent 125 with size and styling akin to a larger engined bike, have huge road presence and are very economical and reliable. They also hold their value very well too

I have both Google UK and Bing UK open as tabs on browser startup both with safe search and filtering.

Good Afternoon All, I have been made aware a very bizarre issue where after inserting an image into a Word document, keystrokes become inconsistent and strokes are missed! I have tested this and found that only Word is affected and that the user must log off and on again to remedy the issue! I have tested Word in safe mode and the behaviour still occurs! I have reinstalled Office and the behaviour still occurs. I have searched the Internet for answers and am coming up with nothing! Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks, TomHD
