    IIRC (not used unifi for few years) it is a passthrough port, so as long as the tagging for vlans is setup correctly on switch and the AP then yes you can configure it to what you want. I had to do the setup you are explaining in my old job and worked fine.

    Has anyone used Server 2022 as a Host in vain yet? any issues to be aware of? We are implementing new hosts soon, our current are 2016 Server Core. Currently stuck between going to 2019 or 2022! Had a look at the differences between OS but can't see anything that is a game changer!

    Had my root canal this morning, driving there OK, driving back.. 8 fallen trees including 1 big one only being held up by phone lines.. I drove very fast under that one!

    I know you mentioned it already, but we use the SumUp Solo. For the main reason of it not using our Wi-Fi. As unsure if you're aware if you take payments on a network you have to make sure it meets a lot of criteria! Easier to just stick it on 4G then leave it to the mobile phone networks to keep up to date with the changes!

    Intune is a good MDM for windows, iPads it does the very basics, macOS it does nothing! How i'd judge Intune Android - Not used enough to comment iOS/iPadOS - 2/10 macOS - 1/10 Windows 8/10 (Still missing a lot of GPO settings!)

    We found that no one really uses desktop icons anymore, we pin Teams to the taskbar instead. Anything website related we have as a bookmark in edge.

    If you're copying from a larger drive to a smaller drive you need to make sure you have the software set to copy raw data iirc (in clonezilla its DD copy i think... ) as if it does partitions it will fail due to a partition being larger than the destination

    We have a 2012 Mac Mini, stuck an SSD in and does the job just fine!

    Costs 1 Mac that you hardly use, or don't mind being used for storage of the cache! Takes all of 3? clicks to setup.

    Any reason you aren't considering the Surface Docks? We have them in all our classrooms and pretty flawless, have had them for 5?ish years. Will need adapters with them obviously!

    We've had about 10ish Startech USB-C Docks, working flawlessly since before Covid! With various different laptops.

    Depends on your budget, but with HP we have NBD warranty and they have been flawless the times we've needed to call them out to replace parts.

    Did it fairly recently, used Clonezilla though.
