Lightspeed Relay and Senso
bald_pig replied to deano3693's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We've seen Senso interfering with network traffic from last week, stopping the senso service appeared to fix the issue. Not using Lightspeed though. -
Yes. Not everybody will want to move to Arbor or Bromcom...

Sounds like a dodgy cable or sata port perhaps?

Exam board not accepting encrypted Sandisk USB stick?
bald_pig replied to Zourous's topic in General Chat
Can you post a copy of the exam board's documentation? They usually specify how they want the drive to be encrypted. -
All of the above! Some deals are 1 day, some are 2 day, and some are limited time drops, with new items every 5 minutes usually.

The Crucial NVME is even cheaper!

Don't forget that the P stands for portable, if you can't unplug it and take it away, it doesn't need PAT testing!

Activcare plus is the paid for warranty. I believe you should have received an Activcare standard number when you registered the board though.

It's going to be the current draw that's important here, not the voltage. It sounds like you are using the ce4 style batteries, they are quite cheap and cheerful, I'd look for something that uses 18650 cells, you can get a much more robust battery then, and it will probably outlast all the others combined!

Temporary cable runs. Best way to cover?
bald_pig replied to Gongalong's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Cable cover tape, only has adhesive at the edges so you can tape down cables without gunking them up, and can usually be bought in yellow/black stripes for visibility. -
With so many paid and free options out there, this seems a bit daft and bullish. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

They are probably noisy because the bearings are knackered, any modern 24v 120mm fan is likely to be an improvement.

I'd be interested, weekdays are probably best for me at least.

The cable you linked to is made to Thunderbolt 3 spec, whereas I believe those monitors would be USB3, which might be why it's saying it's an unqualified cable.

Who's upset Witch recently? -
There are a few other threads on here about them, it doesn't appear to be an isolated case.
