I've seen bandwidth issues with newer screens before, try dropping the refresh rate for the display to 30Hz? -

We both did what dmj said, too fast for the corner and slammed on the brakes, mate had a little extra braking time so made it slightly further before running out of road...

I'd suggest getting a third monitor, and duplicating that with the extended screen.
