  1. I understand this must be very frustrating for you. Unfortunately this is Smarts policy, not ours - we don't put any restrictions on what software you can use on a Clevertouch - i understand that teachers could have years of saved lessons a multitude of different platforms and blocking this seems very counter productive to me. If we can assist with helping your teachers get the most out of Lynx please let me know and i'll be happy to assist.
  2. what touch features they actually limiting? is this just on competitor boards or also on Smartboards too?
  3. Could be touch lock - try red or yellow buttons. if not log a case and we'll get it sorted.

  8. Hi Norphy, Try this: https://download.saharasupport.com/clevershare/Clevershare_1.0.8.2037.msi Thanks
  9. Norphy - Thanks for raising this, sorry i did not get notified of this mention. Clevershare V1.08XX can communicate over multiple subnets - can you make sure that both the Server on the Android is updated to the latest version and the same with the Client side app. If you can then switch to advanced code mode (on both), and try again? If not we may need to make sure that ports are not blocked etc, but let me know how you get on and we can go from there. Thanks Rob
  10. let me know if you need more assistance, but you seem to have it covered. one thing i would say is to anyone thinking of using the above firmware - please check in with our support desk to make sure its applicable to your specific model.

  21. The fact is NONE of the interactive screens that have on board android are Google GMS certified. If you buy a screen that has the play store go to the play store settings you can check this by looking at the device certification. If you see this i would be questioning your vendor on why the play store is there, as this is clearly a breach of googles terms - Google DO NOT issue GMS to any large format interactive touchscreens - never have, and never will. Most manufacturers use the Android AOSP platform that is pretty secure. To this date i'm not aware of any breach or hack of our system.
  22. In all honesty - very few. i'm pretty confident in our glass and toughness and perfectly capable of withstanding a punch etc, but a chair - i don't think many would survive. I work with these screens all day every day so have a reasonable idea.
