Looks pretty good. Currently £30? Wonder how often it goes on sale. Is a bit weird that it's on steam. As long as it's easy to switch between pic and mobile app then it could be a winner.

Tried moneywiz on the iPad. It's ok but has no way to automatically set budgets on purchases. Also tried home budget. This was brill but not compatible with the downloads my bank gives. I've seen Microsoft money sunset but can't seem to get any good info on it

Hi, Looking for a bit of software that I can import my statements into and get graphs etc on how much I spend on each area like fuel. Anyone used something that can do this? Hoping to get some nice visuals on what goes out to help save up. Thanks

Nice guide, havnt read all of it yet but noticed something on the Software Restrictions and thought id post before i forget. If you have Software Restrictions set to default on unrestricted or basic user and then disallow "%temp%*.exe" for example then if another folder is created so "%temp%\imabigvirus\*.exe" then this will still run. There are two ways round it Have million of policies for each new folder e.g: %temp%*.exe %temp%\*\*.exe %temp%\*\*.exe but this can be worked round pretty simply by creating one more folder than youve listed. Second way is to set the Software Restriction Policy to be disabled by default and the specify places you allow rather than places you disallow stuff.

Just done it. Took all of two seconds. Yep the list is fairly big. Shame windows 7 doesnt have something like this that we could set with gpo. That way i dont have to redirect the appdata folder.

So far to help us ive got a GPO with software restrictions on both the computers and users. If you do it on just the users it doesnt stop everything. Disabled is set to default. Takes a bit of setting up as things like the quicklaunch etc has to be unlocked. Have chosen to block lnk files as well. Got AV all round. Just testing out ad blocker on our ict machines which has gone well. Next steps is to stop exe's being saved all together. May have to redirect app data first however.

Thanks Both and the links Ian, We have our primary DC on a physical box and the secondary as a virtual on another machine. So as they are 2008 r2 machines theres no point replicating the virtual DC by the looks of it. Just recreate if needed.

Have a spare i7 32gb ram machine that i would like to use temporarily too replicate my hyper-v server. In the next year well be able to buy a second proper server but rather not wait until then to get a backup server in. If i were to use this machine as a hyper-v replica in 2012 R2, how easy would it be to remove it again and add the new server when it arrives? Thanks.

Hi All, We have some machines with multiple monitors with the second monitor being the touch screen. Windows every so often resets the touch facility so that the input goes onto the wrong screen. I then have to go down and set it back again. Is there anyway to let the user do this in the tablet pc settings? Thanks.

We would be joining a 2 other school in the area under one trust. They already have a Network manager and they also have a assistant manager for their second site. Being the third school i can see my job going down to senior technician at this school. The headteacher has brought in several of her own staff already, our dep head has been shipped of to one of the other school as a way for her to get her own dep head in. Case of waiting and seing now. Only good thing is that ive been told bring some texpensive things forward. Spending all the LEA money before we convert and it gets taken away i guess.

Loved Destiny. Didnt know anyone that played it on the PS3 though so kind of got bored with it in the later levels. Just got WWE 2k14. Spend many hours on that just doing quick matches. Also got Fifa but not loaded it up yet.

We currently have a change of lesson bell that we are trying to change as its not working that well. Had an idea, we have phones in every classroom, wondering if there's a way we could get all phones to play a sound at lesson change time automatically. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

Nice idea! Not used an agency before. Will have to check them out.

Even on my current wage I'm finding it tight. Even if it's only for a year or two I want to pile every penny into reducing the mortguage to reduce that down. I can live at the mo but want the odd unneeded luxury. Just found a delivery company that's offering weekend jobs for £80 per day so no evenings. With tax and NI that will take home £55 ish. Love driving to and weekends are being waisted at the mo. I'm still in bed now.

Looking to something in the evenings and weekends to get a bit of extra cash in. Also think that when we become an academy I'm going to take a big pay cut. Has anyone done this before? How'd you find it? £6.50+ tips it seems.

Found it to be a issue with the new impero update

Hi, We have SIMS through Remote App which has worked well for a long time, started getting issues today however with it on several staff machines. If you minimise the remote app SIMS windows and start typing in another local program after a few key presses windows start making pinging noises and you have to switch to sims and back again you can then type a few more letters. As soon as you close SIMS you can type elsewhere with no issues. Any ideas? It's like the remote app is wanting a input or something. Thanks.

Applocker isnt supported on 7 Pro. Plan to upgrade to Ent but not this month. Tried enforcing it on all software including dll's but they are still allowed. even tried adding *.lnk into the additional rules list as disallowed to test but they are still allowed. Update:OK, so tried applying a policy to the computers. Its now blocking all EXE's. Not sure if its blockingg the shortcut or the lnk but the title of the block windows says the exe so may be overriding the user settings. Update2:Seems like setting a computer policy to block lnk stops all lnk files. You then just set in the user policy where lnk files are allowed to run from.
