Hi, Trying to move from exchange 2003 to office365 for education. I'm using the Microsoft connection tester to try and get RPC working. The original certificate installed by the previous tech was meant for another server so had the wrong address. I've now installed the certificate feature on the server to create a new certificate just to get things rolling. Went into IIS and and changed the certificate on the default website to the one created when it installed the certificate feature. Have waited 30 mins after restarting IIS and now retrying the connection test but it's still coming back as the host name not matching the name on the certificate. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi, Have a teacher trying to print a table, on the screen it just has the single borders between the cells. When printed however there is a border in the border. It doesn't show up on print preview. It's not in every cell though and just in a few blank cells. Any ideas? Many thanks

Thanks Little-Miss for the welcome. It's going to be chaos in the next few months but going for a new DC server and domain in the next few months so can get it exactly how I want it.

Hi all, Just got a new job as ICT Manager in a secondary school so now feel I can properly join in with the forum. The school is in desperate need of updating and fixing. Have created a 6 month plan which involves a new server, domain, backup solutions, several workstations, wireless... It's that bad but they are aware and fully supporting it all. First thing I have to do is create a business case for the server before the 8th. I was previously a tech in another school where I pretty much ran the place including proposing how to spend the 25k budget each but I never had to do the official paper work. Looking into google I can see basic guides which I but wondered if I asked nicely on here and said please if anyone could share a successful template that you have used or a successful business case for a new server? Please . Going to have to several of these but all with the same business need of service reliability and for the ability to upgrade to a later version of Windows Server that is supported by Microsoft. They've done the opposite around me. Every roundabout no matter how busy seems to be getting traffic lights. I've been driving down roads for years and never been stuck in traffic. Now everywhere you go your sitting there in queues, they've adjusted timings several times will still no success. They are also reducing lane numbers causing traffic for 1/2 mile + up the motorway.

Hi all. Just joined ICT manager world for the first time. Have been working as a technician in a school where I pretty much ran the place apart from doing the paper work. Got a lot to do as they are about 10 years behind in every way. Created a plan in my head but just looking into all the paper work that now needs to be done now.
