its back again

Just got some iPads and a few gocabbys given to me. Brilliant bit of kit but the gocabby is really heavy. Does anyone know of a good cheap place to get something that looks like the attached image but in plastic or metal?

Did it the manual way on that tablet. Thanks for the link though, this is my next thing to look for. Tried a few other things and havnt found anythin else yet that causes it.

Managed to get one test login in before I got called away but it completed in 1min 20secs instead of the normal 5. I removed all the built in crapps and then disabled IP v6. Gpupdate wouldn't work so disabled v6 and it all kicked in.

Have so far removed all the built in apps and disabled the login script delay. After 4 mins and 15 secs it comes up with hi and then installing apps. 4mins and 50 secs it logs in

Hi, Just been told to order some ipads. The first thing i think of is pupil A will delete pupil B's work in apps like imovie. Searching around ive come across iusers and slices. These require jailbroken devices. Would you jailbreak classroom ipads? Regards.

We have a proxy so unable to use the Impero proxy and i would imagine 90% of other schools do to. Ths means that actions in Chrome cannot be logged. With IE misbehaving so badly in win 7 recently the default browser for many people has been switched to Chrome. Isnt it time we get chrome support? Just type 'most popular internet browser' into google and it will tell you chrome has overtaken IE now. IF you can get Apple to give you permission to remotely view the ipad screens im sure you can do this.

Our SIMS and Discover server are on another domain, to get the client installer to validate the databases we had to use "runas /netonly /user:administrator "C:\program files..." This then allowed us to validate the connection to the server. When i then load up the program however it cant connect to transfer even if i use "runas /netonly ..." Would contact capita but all communication has to go through the LEA and they gave up when it wouldnt validate the settings. Many thanks p.s. it needs to be using windows authentification as they wont give out the SQL sa password.

Thanks, We originally had a quote for a 70" display and fitting for £2590 as it was on clearance. Finance took so long to approve the order that this deal went. Now looking at £3100 but thatsgoing to take awhole new writeup. 65" is £2899 and can go ahead immediately.

Hi, Does anyone know of a sizing chart for a smart board/interactive display in classrooms? We got a fairly long room and trying to work out if we should go for 65" or 70"+. Have drawn on the wall but its hard to tell. edit. Got a idea. Going to take a projector into the room

Hi, Teacher came to me today because they couldnt import a picture into word or publisher from their ipod. I found that if you copied the picture ont the desktop or memory stick then you can but not direct from the iphone. In my computer you have the different categories (Hard disk drives, network locations, devices with removable storage, portable devices) The iphones etc go into portable devices as does android devices. Any device in this categorycannot dirrectly import picture into word using the word insert tool. USB devices go into another category and work fine. Anyone else experience this? Cheers

Thanks cscc, I've found the shutdown command in a bat file requires you to run as administrator. Just running the shutdown command doesn't however. Won't be able to use this. Trying to find a impero replacement. The power management is a bit broken for some reason as it tries to shut down computers not in the group.

Definatly. I try and change each round. Not everyone does it. Makes it so easy if they dont. Played the SP mode for a bit but never like SP modes as they arnt hectic enough.

How did you get on? Fell asleep so didnt get on last night. Mondays late night gaming did me in, im getting old. Used to be able to do all nighters and carry on as normal. Going to try and get on tonight.

Purchased The Ship multiplayer for $5 yesterday afternoon. The next time i looked at the clock it was 1:30am. Anyone have this game? You geto a point where you dont trust anyone. After killing my guy and killing my murderer i stalk people so they freak out.

+1 Corsair 7.1 headset. Best surround i've ever heard. I've not been able to beat the quality and surround affect of them yet and ive listened to some very expensive systems.
