hi @webman Stupid question time, are there any plans for an import functionality from a SIMS report? Not issue if there is not, not going to kick up a fuss, would just be a nice feature.

its ok @X-13 I have never played FF-VII either as I wasn't allowed game consoles (that changed as soon as I started earning money). The first one I played was FF-X, which I purchased the HD remaster, but I am stuck at the moment, as I never completed it when I had it on PS2 either, so I cannot rely on remember tactics from before. I am about to back track to the calm lands and spend several hours tonight just walking around and levelling as much as possible.

We have both IE and Chrome installed here, IE can be buggy, very very buggy at times, just generally slow to load up pages and general surfing. I have recently setup GAFE alongside O365 (with gmail disabled) and even O365 seems to work better in it. Students will generally choose to use chrome (unless they are using Metro or Listos, which die off this summer, as they only work in IE) and the majority of staff prefer chrome too.

Sounds like what happened to Metro Electro and Listos Electronico to me. They drop support so quickly for these things.

Actually, stemming from this, why can I use google Apps sync without outlook for the calendars without having gmail active. We don't want to use Gmail but does want to integrate the rest :-(

Can I have a set of Chromebooks to try out and can they put me in contact with a Google "Evangelist" to come and give a GAFE demo (minus Gmail) to our staff, I love the Google stuff (although we are still using mail in 365 and the SLT won't let me change at the mo) but I want someone else to sing the praises and give a 1 or 2 hour practical sessions with lots of suggestions and demonstrations :-)

That is what I have, the VM has Server 2012 on it, WDS and MDT and the other prerequisites.

I use MDT, You put WDS on first and then put MDT into it as a boot image. This guys MDT videos were very helpful. I am looking at SCCM for on the fly software deployment though :-) https://www.youtube.com/user/alucardkakashi It all layers up, so once you have MDT working the way you want, you can then use SCCM to further what you do.

On the physical servers themselves, I have had to replace one local drive. On the Disk Array, which is like a Direct Attached SAN to the main file server, I have replaced about 18 disks over 5 years, but everything writes to it. This Disk Array Storage Vault thing is about to be decommissioned this summer, as when one drive fails, the RAID doesn't respond the way it should and it actually takes all the drives off the server and the network is completely unusable until I have turned off the server, the disk array, turned the disk array back on and let it do its check to identify the disk, replace that disk and then turn the server back on. Something isn't right there at all, but that is left over BSF equipment for ya

We are one of those schools, but we got it as part of BSF. Although you are looking at about £300 per AP (if your lucky) and £10k for the controller. we have 51 APs for the entire site. So a replacement of APs (we have already replaced the controller this year, after 5 years) would cost us £15,3000 I think the 100k was a bit of an over estimate, but they are not cheap by far (although they have bee doing a good job and support is really good from them)

I seem to remember something about you can use one client with a database selector, but I do not know the exact details, but your support unit should be able to help there.

We have brought serious amounts of kit for VeryPC over the past year and just put in an order for another 170 Ultrabooks with them, and I cannot fault any part of the service. @VeryPC_Colin_M is the man to get on it, he has sorted so much bespoke stuff out for us :-) I haven't had any dealings with Ergo in 9 years, so I can't comment there

I do it with no liquid at all, as the juices from the meat go into the slow cooker. It is one of the best ways of cooking a gammon join
