I am playing the original for the first time in my life (I wasn't allowed games consoles growing up due to a issue from when i was 2 between the parentals) I am not too sure about the battling system but lets wait and see ay
  2. I use the following RRR-MMMM-0xx RRR = room or SLP/TLP (for student laptop and teacher laptop) MMMM = model number - such as 9010, V110, R50B, or a HPG4 something meaningful that allows you to identify the model 0XX = number, 3 digits as out laptops reach into the 100s for models
  3. @Alis_Klar The unstable isn't due to it's syncing (TBH offline folders has been fine for us for years and years) it is more the extra functionality, like the always on, where I know schools have had to go for Azure Proxies for it, to keep the sync alive when working over the web, which it should do with just WAP and NPS but it doesn't seem to. It is more a completely different way of working, I will be looking at ODfB and Sharepoint but if I do that, I am going to want Veem backup for office 365 and then you end up backing it up back onsite, kinds defeats the point!
  4. Work folders is also a bit more unstable, the last time I looked. It also works like the older sync clients for OneDrive and Google Drive, as in files are not on demand, they are synchronised. Which means you have to make sure everything is bitlockered properly. Which the last time I checked you can't backup the keys in standard AD only Azure AD. Problem we have here is that we are striving to be agnostic as much as possible, so the majority of our stuff is done in G Suite (as we find Classroom the better product for us) which naturally lent itself to drive. But we do use Office 365 for emails, and ADFS for authentication with the Adobe suite! More research needed me feels.
  5. Oh no, this is going to be fun
  6. on.......................
  7. I watched Good Omens on Amazon prime over the weekend with on of my Housemates, was very enjoyable.
  8. I have setup wordpress with multi site on an IIS server completely internally before. You can even get ldap plugins and get it to automatically create subsites. plenty of guides out there to do it in IIS
  9. We have this, you cant mash or hold the F2 key, you have to wait for the splash and press F2 at the right time, just once.
  10. I think the issue is that it is not windows live mail, so you made need to look at it a bit further, but you may be on the right track there I know that I have the notifications blocked via GPO and it has stuck (so far) Is it worth running a GPResult on the user, just so you can check that there isn't another policy overriding the one you have put the notification settings into, I have had this in the past.
  11. 2016 definitely has is in the Group Policies, it is under User Settings > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2016 > Outlook Options > Advanced Email Options > Desktop Alert Set "Do not display New Mail alert for users" as enabled. You do need to import the Microsoft Office Group Policies for this and not just the windows ones
  12. Filter the SEN Needs of a student, like you have for Students of a class, and have it with the end date is empty/null As for the Assembly stuff, it may be worth filtering the lesson to not include those subjects subject code, but you will need the two letter subject code for the lessons, which should be retrievable from Tools > Setups > subjects
  13. A Sousaphone is a lot easier to transport than a Tuba, as the bell actually comes off and fits inside the curve in a case. I know because I have played one many a time, it's just a BBb Tuba with more curves :-)

  15. @Dos_Box Would you and the other event organisers be up for the picnic?
  16. So, there are a bunch of us coming down the the weds at various times, have I missed plans for food? I will keep an eye on weather, as if it's nice, cathedral picnic may be a shout
  17. When publishing a recent letter on our launch of it, we included a statement similar to this, as all of this is covered for the running of the school. Access to data about parents child(ren), including (but not restricted to) Attendance, Behaviour, Achievement, Grade and Yearly reports and homework, is required for parental communication and the running of the school. This allows for the school to work with parents in supporting their child(ren) behaviour and attainment within their school life.
  18. we are using Edulink One for email contact with parents, there is a tick box that puts it straight into the communication log in SIMS :-)
  19. sudden question, what version of Windows are you running? It may be that the default printer isn't being recognised as set correctly
  20. Those are all fine, I would do what @bfelton has said
  21. You can recreate the template, but you are going to need to sit there and do it. When I refer to the template, I mean the individual report template that is created in word and not the Template for the marksheets themselves, I know it gets confusing with Ass.Man. Terminology at times. Can you check to see if word has any add-ons within it?
  22. Just some ideas. Do you know if you are using the HP Universal Print Drivers, something in the back of my head says there are some issues with them, I know there deffo was with Nova T4 and Assessment Manager 6, but not sure about 7 (the version in SIMS) The other thing to try, in your homedrive (my documents) there will be two folders created by SIMS "My Sims Documents" and "tempSIMSRpt" try deleting them and logging back into SIMS and see if that does it. Also, do you know if there are any addons installed withing Word, there was a problem many years ago with the Microsoft MFL and Chemistry addons causing issues, but I don't think they exist anymore, but it worth a shot there. I have had it before where the table itself has become corrupt in the word document, and no matter what you do, you end up recreating the table from scratch, which is frankly rubbish, but it has happened
