After spending hours staring at the screen, I know why it's doing it, just don't know how to stop it... It's picking up each incident of a lesson so if a pupil has 4 English lessons, they appear 4 times - rather than just once. How do I filter the lessons so there is just one line regradless of how many times the lesson appears - I've tried ticking 'Display first record only' but it just crashes SIMs. The tree stucture is below - if it's still needed...

Hi all, Trying to pull together a report which will display all a teachers SEND pupils along with information about their needs and suggestions for the teacher. The report only has a few data fields but is returning duplicated entries with the same data line appearing 3 times when it is run and I cant see why this is the case - am I being really stupid and have missed something really obvious. The report outputs to an rtf using a user-defined template as I want to page break on each teacher's name. All I'm asking for is: Lessons - filtered to remove lessons such as Assembly etc. Class teacher Class Name Students of the class - filtered so only SEND pupils are listed Student Adno Student Name SEND Needs - filtered to remove any Need Descriptions that are blank SEND Needs Type Description SEND Need Description (which contains personalised info on the pupils) When it's run, it pulls through the data as requested with the SEND needs of each child by class and by teacher, but displays every entry 3 times which makes the report enormous and useless!

Tried that... When I filter lessons where: subject code of the class does not contain 'As' - it works fine and takes out all the assembly slots, but if I then add in an 'or' where subject code of the class does not contain 'Gr' to take out the guided Reading slots, it not only ignores that but puts back in all the Assembly slots as well... Have even tried putting both As and Gr in the same filter so they appear 'As, Gr' but that results in both being ignored.

Hi all, My first post and I'm totally stuck... I'm trying to create a report which will provide each teacher with a list of their vulnerable pupils by class alongside advice on how to deal with them. We have a number of SEND pupils and just saying that each pupil has a pupil profile isn't working as it's obvious that they are not using them. The report looks like this. I've then created an rtf template to present the data ... and it sort of works. But... and I've now spent hours and hours trying to sort this... I only want it to display the SEND Type Descriptions that have no end date - so not to display needs that are no longer relevant and have an end date added to them. I also don't want it to display for certain lessons - we have Assembly etc on our timetable allocated to each year group, but I can't get it to accept filters to not display those lessons. The answer must be in the filtering... but... I've hit a wall.
