Yeah, something is weird here, it is as if you are actually logging in before the VPN has fully connected, or something like that, so maps all the other drives after it has connected.

Maybe it is worth enabling offline files for your home drive. That way it is synchronised offline, it will be mapped, even without a network connection, and when it makes the network connection, it will go online? Just a suggestion, it may solved your issue.

So I just finished watching "Dead Pixels" on All 4 (i think it is being shown in E4 but always just stream) It is quite funny, to the point where I would say the writing is almost on par with "The IT Crowd" where it is close enough to real life that it is believable in places, but it has absurd out there moments. Really worth a watch, especially is you have every MMO'd before.

With me, it is the task of retraining everyone to use something else. Also, if you want the full functionality of your MIS, use your MIS (I know I know, very old way of looking at it) Teachers can open up other teachers registers, but I have not given any test with Cover. I can see the use for PE staff etc, but for the day to day secondary use, with assessment manager, profiles, lesson monitor, checking linked documents etc. I think SIMS is still the best place to do it. Saying that, I am not telling people they cannot use it for their lessons.

@mthomas08 The only function I cannot see for Parents Evening is the ability for a central person to set a break, it has everything else that our current Parents Evening System does. Cover and registers, although nice, I cannot really see a reason to push staff to using this over SIMS. BTW, I am in Kent, so give us a PM and I will send you my details

Personally we have Heritage, not their fancy one, their basic one, and it works OK for us. Our partner school uses Libresoft, so much more impressive, and they migrate your Data over too.
