Hadn't Noticed This About Our Coinage Until I Saw This Picture
RabbieBurns replied to 6Foot2's topic in General Chat
are these new coins? Just checked all the UK coins i have with me and none of them match those designs... They all have some random womans head on one side, and various other designs on the flip. -
if you just want to modify some of the text, you can do that directly in acrobat pro without even having to mess about converting it to word.

yeh I was under the impression exchange was designed to use up as much of the available memory as possible. Mine only has 3GB and utilisation used to sit at about 50% to 60%.. Since yesterday its dropped to 40% now. But with dynamic RAM in hyperV its not much of an issue.
-
I installed it yesterday, and insterstingy Exchange seems to be using about 10% less RAM since installing it..

hmm.. just tested Search in OWA and its working now, without a reboot. I guess the prepareAD was enough to fix it?? Thanks
-
Do i need to reboot between the prepareAD and the Schema prepare? Im getting the following error: Configuring Microsoft Exchange Server Extending Active Directory schema FAILED The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); install-ExchangeSchema -LdapFileName ($roleInstallPath + "Setup\Data\"+$ RoleSchemaPrefix + "schema0.ldf") " was run: "There was an error while running 'ldifde.exe' to import the schema f ile 'C:\Windows\Temp\ExchangeSetup\Setup\Data\PostExchange2003_schema0.ldf'. The error code is: 8224. More details can be found in the error file: 'C:\Users\rob ert.PMG\AppData\Local\Temp\2\ldif.err'". The Exchange Server setup operation didn't complete. More details can be found in ExchangeSetup.log located in the :\ExchangeSetupLogs folder. Exchange Server setup encountered an error. The error in the log file says "unable to connect"

some advanced exchange 2010 help needed please
RabbieBurns replied to RabbieBurns's topic in Enterprise Software
So today I have finally had a chance to follow this up. I did a P2V and shutdown the existing one. I installed SP1 of exchange which went well. Then I installed SP1 of 2008R2 which also went well. Finally I upgraded it to 2008R2 Enterprise from the Standard that it was. Its working great (touch wood). Thanks everyone for getting this sorted. -
interestingly, even though that it said IT created the machine account in AD, and seems to do ntlm_auth etc, and also lets me login to ssh using AD accounts Im still not sure quite whats going on just now, but will read your blig and have a look, Thanks
-
thanks for your reply james. Ive got all that done, and having some problems with it.. Ive got a thread going on the freeradius mailling list at the moment if you would like to take a look and see if theres anything you could add/comment about? FreeRadius - User - mschap with ntlm_auth and Active Directory cheers

James, The wireless MAC addresses exist in AD as user accounts. They all have a password set, which is the same password. This password is also entered onto the Wifi Controller. The controller sends the MAC address as the username, and said password, to RADIUS, which checks it in AD, which then uses accept or reject to allow it onto the network.
