1. i remember the year sonic 2 came out, i asked for it for xmas as I had a game gear. I got given it on MAster System cartridge, with the Game gear -> Master system converter, and my sister got a whole master system. I remember feeling cheated haha.
2. one of our main buildings has full solar cover. Not entirely sure much about it, just found out about it when I installed anew firewall it was unable to talk to the outside world and had to unblock random ports for it. on another note, someone i know here kitted their roof out with solar, and now get a cheque every month from the electric company rather than a bill. Cost about 10kAUD to install, which was after a .gov rebate, so will still be a while before their paid off.
3. storing documents and an email server are mutually exclusive there should be a file server for storing documents, and an archive process for storing them for 30 years
4. if any of you are getting rid of your ps3 duke nukem forever I will take it off your hands, let me know
5. I downlaoded streets of rage 2 as part of the welcome back pack the other week... But ill look out for that sega pack., Sounds good.. thanks
6. @FN-GM the consumer home bb is getting not bad now. I pay $60 which is about 40 quid for unlimited (proper unlimited) ADSL2+ and phone line. In scotland I pay BT line rental plus 30 quid a month for BE for the same unlimited adsl2+. So pretty comparable. However at work, our 12meg fibre connection is $6k a MONTH!! Hopefully the NBN will make that cheaper for us. Theres an ongoing debate here that giving telstra 11bn dollars, will just empower them to build a rival network in a few years. Ive not really been following it much to be honest, not being able to vote Im just an innocent bystander when it comes to the politics. Im just sitting wiaintg for FTTH to arrive so hopefully my slingbox will be able to stream a decent picture for once.
7. 90% of our core to edge switches is 10gb fibre. Where we havent been able to stack switches, we LAG 4x1gb links between switches to increase bandwidth. The remaining 10% are 1gb fibre runs, but this is down to the modules at either end, so these have been budgeted for and are being replaced soon.
8. Ill give you a Pat on the back for that one. Jess kidding, it was crap ;p
9. How can I get the original sonic on the PS3?
10. do you mean over your home network or do you really mean over the internet?
11. yet you're worried about a couple of pesky english ants?
12. I used the last method you posted, it worked a treat. Thanks @SYNACK,
13. Yes thanks, all seems to be good now. Thanks for your help.
14. read an article or saw on the news about this. The pdf of it has been floating around for a while, and the author said it was due to this 'piracy' that has led to so many sales. cant remember where i read/saw it tho
15. Im running hyperV in failover clustering and it works well. However in my testing, when taking a node offline, and the VMs live migrate to another host, I cant figure out a way to have them automatically move back once the host comes back up. Is it possible?
16. iphone.. yeh ill get one of them. cheers.
17. I think its time to upgrade my phone. I'm using a Nokia E71 that ive had since late 09, its served me well, but I believe its time for an upgrade. The best thing I like about this Nokia is I can charge it on a Sunday night, and not have to charge it again till Friday morning. I don't think any of the new phones can do that, but I guess the new ones all have USB charging (i think?) so shouldn't be a problem. The only feature requirements I have are it must have: slingplayer app putty or equiv exchange sync for calendar and emails pop email accounts to be able to play games usb charging camera that actually has viewable photos features that would be good: be able to copy .avi files onto it and just watch them without transcoding oh, and the biggest requirement, that it not be an iphone. does such a phone exist? Hit me up with some suggestions... budget is probably about $500AU.
18. i get blizzard scam emails all the time as well and i have never heard of blizzard except for when it snows. i dont think you are special getting it, just that you happen to have a blizzard account you are the ones they are targeting.
19. still not got this sorted. Cant seem to figure it out..
20. that super sweet 16th show on mtv is all about them
21. I&#39m not a spoiled brat!&#x202c‏ MacKenzie gets what MacKenzie wants&#x202c‏ @mattx, whats the twist? this part of some reality tv bullitsh?
22. we have a custom made ms access asset database. It has evolved over the years, but has all our network gear, laptops, desktops, servers, projectors, etc all in it, and we have a couple of USB barcode scanners we use for easy querying. It still needs a lot of work to make it completely perfect, but it does us,
23. Meguiars is the brand Ive been using, but its tub of paste stuff, rather than a spray. It was given to me by a mechanic mate along with some cloths, ive not been using a sponge. It works well, its just blooming hard work. An hour a wheel isnt really something Id want to do regularly, and inner city driving i do is such stop start stop start that it generates a lot of brake dust. @SYNACK, that looks good. Do i just buy that or do i need any of the other accessories that amazon recommends?
24. @synack a sponge on a drill fitting sounds like what I am looking for. Im not sure these are chrome, they are more matte than that. Satin I think is what someone said but Im not sure. They came with the car when I bought it, so I wasnt exactly gonna take them off an put on hubcaps. These have a load of little rivets or whatever as well which makes it even more difficult. Ill take some photos in the mornintg
25. $95 plus $5 for a cup of tea while u wait.
