Ptlabs Consulting - IT Occupations This guy helped me out with a few questions via email, seems to know his stuff and his website puts things a bit easier to understand than the immi.gov.au site.

There is a seperate list for that called the EN-SOL (employer nominated SOL) which has extra stuff on it not on the main SOL. eg. systems administrator is on the EN-SOL but not the SOL so i am S.O.L about getting a permanent residency that way. (sys admin WAS on SOL until July 1st 2010, but by the time I got my skills assessment back from the ACS, it was too late... ) My last resort is a 121 or 856 (I think) which is the employer nominated permanent... but not holding my breath my employer will do it for me, but we will see...

Gottit, thanks. Ive added the IP of the senders mailserver to the IP allow list from within exchange. Confusing that it was within exchange, and not within ForeFront.. But got there in the end.. Cheers!

The sender in question is getting quarantined for this: ID: {365AAFC7-C346-4AF4-BD00-A695F1800197} Detection Time: 7/23/2011 12:01 PM State: Quarantined as spam Incident Category: Spam Incident Name: Spam Detected using engine 'Cloudmark' File: Entire Message.eml Folder: Content Filter Agent Scan Job Name: Transport

Adding a 2nd Exchange 2010 Server

thats what I thought. So i would need to have the p2p vpn in place in order to join the new site to the existing domain? But from what I can tell about the site to site vpn from the documentation @sukh suggested, it appears there needs to be a domain at either site already? or am i reading it wrong? -
Mail - Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange is that the only way to do it?
-
reminded me of this The website is down because someone removed the X-Box

I cant seem to find away to allow a sender permanently. Mail from a specific sender keeps getting caught in the quarantine, and I need to go in and release it. But how can I add this sender / domain to a whitelist?

SEEK - Australia's no. 1 jobs, employment, career and recruitment site is the best place for look for jobs. Check for ones offering a 457 (business sponsor visa) as that will let you come over immediately, albeit temporarily. Its easier if you are not fussed about not being in the cities, going rural you stand the chance of State Sponsorship (176 visa i think) which is a permanent visa. But as @FN-GM says, going for a permanent residency visa is the best option if you think you might want to make the move permanently (175 visa). The requirements for this visa change every year, and it does take years as FN-GM says, check this page Skilled Occupation Lists (Formerly Known as Form 1121i) to see if you or your wives skill is on the list. If it is, then you need to get the skill assessed by the relevent authorotive body (ACS (Australian Computer Society) - Membership, Professionalism and Leadership for ICT Professionals and the ICT Community does IT for example) A useful forum I sometimes use as well is PomsInOz Australia Migration & British Expats Forum which is full of folk making the move, or who have already made it. Good luck.

We have 4 hour support on our Acer Servers, tech is normally here within the hour.. Is yours just a standard warranty replacement? Ask for a copy of the Escalation procedure if you don't have one. Ive got contacts right up to the Technical Services Director's mobile number..
