We've got a 10gb fiber network so the bandwidth isnt an issue. Need something a bit more professional than SD cards in cameras, needs to record to a server and have at least a fortnight of retention of recordings. Ive got in contact with the Indigovision folk hopefully they will have a sydney presense. Was hoping someone from the UK schools who used them might frequent here or know of a school that did.

What kind of price should we be looking at for a system like this. We will most likely use our own network infrastructure and just create a VLAN for the CCTV.. The client software uses wierd ports (5001 i believe) however you can now just use your web browser to watch. Go to Slingbox - Country Selector and it installs a player addon for your browser (works in both FF and IE) and you can watch using just normal web traffic. Also, it means you dont need to worry about remembering the IP etc of where the slinbox is located!

Getting a bit confused with all the different types of ForeFront. Is the antivirus solution called Forefront Endpoint Protection? If so, does this require SCCM to work? Im thinking of ditching sophos and going with Forefront due to it being included in our EES agreement, but unsure if I need to set up a whole SCCM environment as well?

Ive got 3 slingboxes at strategic locations around the world with various subscription packages. Dont miss a thing, and can even watch them from the client on my mobile phone. The slowest one is on a virgin media 256k upstream, but even that is plenty watchable. Best devices Ive bought in a long time.

I have always loved chillis.. I work with a pacific islander who over the last few years has got me up to some pretty decent standard (eg can eat habaneros raw now).. I add chilli to everything I eat, and I cant really say it has much affect with my weight loss.. but I definately reckon it is keeping me healthy.. Havent even had a cold in the 2 years Ive started eating chilli daily.

Hi, 1) the login method is set as a per-user thing so yes you can run it with mixed mode 2) The outage I guess would have affected the moodle login part as it basically just redirects you to the login page for the live.com services, and then returns you to moodle. Due to our time zones we were unaffected by the outage.

Nice one mate well jealous. Couldn't believe the ridiculous prices for me to get over there.. Its normally < $300 return for a flight from sydney to aukland, theyve bumped them up to $700.,. And the tickets to the match are $200.. Ill just put that $900+ towards my HD sports subscription for the year and a few cases of Heineken and just watch it from home..

Never been to Fuerteventura but have been to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife.. Only the latter was the typical english lager louts, the other 2 were nice quiet, relaxed holidays. No idea of where we went tho to be honest, just a last minute teletext deal for cheap

The hosts got off to a cracker last night, and Scotland managed to get a win this morning, just.. Romania looked like they come back from 21-11 down and let 24-21 with 10 mins remaining but we managed to score 2 in the last 10 mins! Argentina are showing England up just now, should be more ahead than they are... Really tempted to head accross for the Scotland Vs England game on the 1st October to Aukland but flights, ticket, accommodation, etc would cost over $1000 (about 800 quid) so I really cant justify it.. @SYNACK, you going to any games?
