Hmmn, just debating train v coach for convenience rather than cost. Is it easier to get to the show from Victoria coach station or Waterloo train station ?

Hi all Its been a long while since I've been here but just wondered if anyone has any proven methods for: 1) managing memory cards from video cameras i.e. logging them in/out with teaching staff and storage of video files. 2) We also have a requirement (in HE) to keep recordings of student presentations and speaking test for quite some time and storage is an issue. Currently being just dumped on a 2Tb external drive (which is then not backed up !). I'm just concerned it is too easy for this to be damaged and the recording lost. Any thoughts anyone ? many thanks

I think I asked Layershift to install all the required php modules for us but I wasn't planning on upgrading php anyway at the moment. I have the blocks in but at the moment they're causing all the right hand side blocks on courses to disappear (we're on 1.9.11+) - may be a template issue (Fandango) -

Big thanks again Rabbie - that's sorted it ! A few niggles to sort out with block placement etc. but at least the login and authentication side is now working ! Hurrah ! Cheers again for the help (Sorry it's not beer !) -

Hi m8, thanks for replying (tearing my hair out with this !). Yes, run the previous cmdlets and logged in - however, a thought has just occured that I am logging in with the impersonation account and maybe, as you said, I should use the live@edu admin account so will give that a go. From what I've found out about the error it's something to do with the eExchange services account so maybe that will do the trick. Running Moodle on a linux box from layershift.co.uk - excellent and no probs so far (maybe I've just tempted fate now !) Let you know how I get on -

Hi all I've asked this question over at Moodle.org but got no answer so just wondered if anyone here can help. Just a couple of questions if anyone is using the Microsoft Live@EDU (or Office365 now) service and plug-in and Moodle: 1) Can you operate a mixed login environment ? i.e. have some users authenticating via Live@EDU and some using a normal Moodle login or does it have to be all one or the other ? I would have a few users (external teachers) who we wouldn't want or need to set up a mailbox for 2) MS Live services had major problems on Friday. Am I right in assuming these outtages affect Moodle logins if using the service ? Anyone any good/bad experiences on this aspect ? Many thanks
