Hi, Currently trying to setup failover for our DHCP, but running into some issues (screenshot below) I have visited https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a60ed600-58d6-4f06-a8c5-d01104b1eaa7/server-2012-r2-dhcp-failover-error-20010?forum=winserver8gen and tried the different options mentioned, but still does not want to work. We don't have any custom options and can't figure out why it is failing. Anyone come across this?

Just tried, but getting the following error in event viewer: " Error details: "Access is denied." for failing to redirect the downloads folder and also getting the following one with that setting and fails to create the folder. "The user 'Downloads' preference item in the 'All Students Group Policy {ID #####}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070003 The system cannot find the path specified.' This error was suppressed." EDIT: Just got it working, thank you RowlandoGloom. Done that and unticked the "Grant the user exclusive rights to Downloads" from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2493506

Hello, I am trying to redirect the downloads folder for all students. Current using a test account and on their GPO during half term but it does not want to work. The downloads setup correctly, but it fails to create the Downloads folder due to security access denied when the administrators and user has full control to their home area so I created the Downloads folder manually to see and getting the following error in event viewer. The user does have full permission to this inherited folder and so do all domain administrators. Anyone come across this before?

Same for IAM Cloud Drive mapper. We have the entire school on it with an ADFS setup and so far been working very well We are using it for each users OneDrive and their our different SharePoint document libraries for shared areas.

I have managed to get Sites, Video, Delve and those ones removed from all users but Sway, even with it disabled it does not want to go away so I just have it enabled. It can take upto 48 hours for the tiles to be removed from all users when changed and for the user to log off from Office 365 and logging back in (that what Microsoft support said a few weeks back)

Already tried restarting the server. Managed to get all working now, the firewalls somehow changed when the server rebooted for windows updates.

Was started already, restarted before and still same issue.

Hi all, Yesterday WDS was working perfect without any issues, however today it don't want to play ball. The computers are getting to Boot from network and can get DHCP address and downloads the WDSNBP from WDS Server, but then it does: --------------- WDSNP started using DHCP Referral. Contacting Server: IP ADDRESS (Gateway: 0.0.0.0) No response from Windows Deployment Services Server Launching pxeboot.com... Press F12 for network service boot --------------- When pressing F12 it just exits the Boot agent and boots Windows as normal.. Anyone come across this before and know how to resolve?

Under sharepoint admin on settings within, you can disable the sites, delve, video tiles from showing.

Same here, all clients are on Windows 7 as works perfect really as Windows 10 still has its teething problems. Have one 2012 r2 physical which is our main file server and all other servers are 2008 r2.

By default the main sync (such as for AD account changes and attributes) is 3 hours by default, but you can change to what you want on a config file. The password sync happens every three minutes, but have found out on some occasions it's almost instant.

2 Adfs servers locally and the other two backup ones hosted in azure.

Check if your user is still showing on Office 365 and if it is that you have a licence for exchange assigned to you.

We use Windows Thin PC and works well on our very very old and bad machines.

We been approached by Virgin Media as our Line is up for renewal and they been pushing this. The problem for us is we have or own Web filter (lightspeed) and Sophos which are on a three lease and we only had for one year and everything else they offer we already so and it works perfect... We just want to renew our 100mb line with them, but they are really pushing for this and at this rate will move away from Virgin media altogether.

Using IAM Cloud and so far is very good, it just works and we have our ADFs with them so sSO works and I don't have to host the servers internally and worry about them going down. We also have share point document lubricant mapped such as subject share areas for staff. For the price of IaM cloud it worth every penny and does more then drive mapping

Anyone know how to do this or would I have to uninstall Office 2013 and reinstall with it disabled from the customisation tool?

I should have some documentation somewhere I had from when I setup office 365. Will have a look when I get into work tomorrow. When I started with office 365 last year, there was nothing and a nightmare to find out how to do stuff. Ended up playing around with it all before moving over students and staff.

Dropbox isn't on the list of suppliers for Education. You thought about using Office 365 instead over Dropbox? - I have just moved over three schools entirely to Office 365 for OneDrive for user areas and shared resources under SharePoint and so far almost everyone in each of the schools hasn't moaned so much about it as Office is the same.

Users can create their own distribution groups which we use and found to be really useful for them. It under the people and when creating new contact it will ask to create a distribution contact or single contact.
