Pretty much everything said above. Anything that would require downtime, such as server updates/reboots. I tend to like to reboot the switches every now and again as well. It also allows you to put various checks in place such as testing UPS systems, knowing that if it all goes pear shaped ,you're not going to impact everyone else.

When I was in secondary school, my dream job was to be an IT Manager in a school. Good enough career choice that I pursued it.

I can't say I've ever used Cortana. I believe I can now use it within Windows 10 that I'm testing at home, but I've immediately removed the search bar and all functionality, given it just always seems to get in the way.

Always been tempted to get into airsoft, but the prices that people charge around here seems to be pure insanity. For the price of entry + weapon hire (£45 round these parts), I could get around 900 rounds of .22LR ammo and blast around a semi-auto AR15 all day. Whilst I would happily pay ~£20, anything more than that would be too pricy.

I do 22lr Target Shooting in my spare time, looking to start up on .303 soon as well. I play a couple of computer games in a semi-competitive nature I also tend to drive around looking at various museums, as well. Went to Coventry Air Museum over the weekend to go see the Vulcan they have there, as well as planning my trip down to Bovington Tank Museum for tankfest. I play drums and am looking to learn bass at some point, as well.

They've been doing this a lot recently, renovating stores and making it more modern. I quite like the idea, it cuts down on the queues and it means I don't actually need to speak to anyone.

I'd stay away from this idea, I'm afraid. I can just see it causing more issues further down the line. Problems 1: Power Useage. Leaving computers on full load will cause more power consumption, leading to higher bills. With cash strapped schools, this isn't something that you can justify. Also, given the funding comes from the public purse, you'd have to be fully justified to governors and everyone else (Given potential Freedom of Information Act Requests) if asked if you contribute towards these. 2: Load on computers. Most computers aren't designed to be run at full load for extended periods of time. Even gaming machines running generally don't that long at full load without cooldown. The potential for prolonged overheating and other issues might break machines more quickly than you would like. (Certainly given how fast P4's can go with age). 3: Heat. If you've ever run a single machine on full load overnight, you'll notice how quickly the room will get hot. Times this by however many machines you have and you'll soon have issues. Also, regardless of if you are a school or not, you might have a few police look into this. A mix of the late night power consumption and heat generated (if they ever looked into it) might make a few heads turn and think you're growing something that you shouldn't have. I've known friends to have police storm their offices and homes before when they've been doing bitcoin mining and other high CPU/GPU activities.

I don't know, someone I know who runs entire rooms full of old retro consoles and arcade machines bought a load of cheap TV's from the tesco. Who would have thought you could pick up 4x32" and 40" ISIS branded TV for less than 140 each.

I haven't seen all that much difference, myself. The only thing I've seen a problem with is the US T8 light tank, the T49. Now you do need to aim fully to even get close to hitting at anything more than 50m, which means you're stuffed with the long aim time.

I quite like the ELC, I must admit. I'm half tempted to get it again at some point. Currently just derping around with my GW Tiger P, gotta love AP rounds one shotting most tanks And yes, once you go above T8, you'll be losing credits like nobodies business. I myself run premium (I tend to buy it by the year load) and have a couple of T8 prems, so I'm not too worried but you can easily lose 25-30k each battle at T10 if you play like a donkey.

Mate, I know it's going to be a bit of an annoying thing to do, but ring up and call them asap and at least let them know what happened. See if they have an email address or something that you could use instead. You don't want a situation where they'll blame it on you when you return it. Certainly if rain got into the car, it'll need a proper dry out to prevent the damp and mould. With everything else you've told us about the company, you wouldn't want them to try and give you a big ass fine for damages on top of everything else.

@abillybob: If you're looking to move with your girlfriend to buy a house together, I'd personally recommend looking at rental, at least for a initial 6 month period. Why? Whilst you will be loosing out on the money spent on rent for them 6 months, you'll get more of a feel of living together. Getting a house together is a long term commitment and you want to 100% make sure it'll work, I'd personally say that 2 weeks isn't anywhere near enough, especially given that spending time together in the holiday isn't going to give you a normal indication of day to day life. In the long run in terms of a 30 year mortgage, waiting another 6 months isn't going to drastically change things.

To be honest, I wouldn't drive a car with bald tyres / known defects. There is no excuse for this, no "Well this is how I was given it" or "It's only for a couple of weeks", you yourself are responsible for the condition of it, even with a hire car. We had the same situation when I was driving for ASDA home delivery. Many of the vans had known defects such as electrical problems, bald tyres, no indicators/brake lights and the light. It was only when someone got pulled over, given a large fine and 6 points on the licence did the rest of the drivers stand up and say that they aren't willing to drive them anymore. Trust me on this one, if anything did happen such as getting pulled over by the police, there is no chance in hell that the hire company would back you up. They'd wash their hands the second it happens (and then likely charge you more on top of this, for repair to the car). Lets say on a rainy day the hire car you hypothetically have another crash. One, you'd be responsible regardless due to the condition of the car and two, if anyone was injured and the plods come along, you'd be at the receiving end of any criminal charges. Worst case scenario, someone is to pass away, you'd find yourself with manslaughter charges on your back with no reasonable comeback. Sorry to be that person, but regardless of personal situations and circumstances, you're putting everyone on the road at risk due to the condition of the car. Ring them up and get them to replace it ASAP and don't drive it until it's done so, to me it wouldn't be worth the risk.

I don't have a bread machine, although I do have a lovely kmix stand mixer. I find that I prefer oven cooked bread and I still don't need to do the hard parts.

Dominion, Ticket to Ride, Betrayal at the house on the hill and Pandemic is the ones I frequently play. I quite like CaH and I'm looking forward to Exploding Kittens
