For people knocking on the door to sell crap, the good old "I'm renting, but I can pass something to my landlord" for windows, boilers or the like. Fill out a form, there are templates out there that are free to download. I'd recommend paying for decent paper though, (like the thicker styles). It makes things a bit more professional and helps prevent issues down the line.

I actually kind of agree with this logic, to be honest... Times have changed, people will naturally say "this is purely about profit" and sure, I'd agree with them... At the same time, however, I still think that there is stuff we can do as a nation to help with sugar. Excessive sugar is going to cause more health issues going forward. (I'm 26, I remember 10 years ago during school with the Tuck Shops, me and my friends would go through 3-4 chocolate bars a day with a similar number of cans of coke)... Actually, I remember sixth form drinking a 1l bottle of energy drink a day, as did everyone else in my class. Looking back, that was 110g of sugar a day just from a single drink. You only have to look around the classrooms at lunch to see kids bringing in sweets, fizzy drinks and the like, we've got kids who come in every morning with huge bags of cakes from gregs they got on the way to school...

Yeah, it depends on circumstances I'd say... Clicking once to accept a new route parked up at traffic lights is going to be fine, playing flappy birds on the motorway will be a different matter.

Not so much a bug-out bag, but I've got a decent selection of things in my car. Lamp, Tyre Compressor, Basic First Aid Kit, Fire extinguisher, rope for towing, jump leads, decent breakers bar for changing tyres etc, Survival blanket and survival tin (still left over from when I used to do DoE). This is more just in case I get stuck somewhere, as opposed to worrying about if the worlds gone to pop, though.

I've had other friends ask this question recently, I just personally don't see how it can contribute to healthy eating and replace a proper meal. If you don't have the time to sit down for 15-20 minutes for lunch and distance yourself from work, then I really question people's priorities.

The thing that really sets the boards apart these days is the software provided with it... The actual boards are pretty much the same across the various suppliers.. If you was going down this route, I'd suggest finding a brand you like and sticking with it, though. If you've got consistency, staff are more likely to look at resources made for that board, as opposed to generic powerpoints.

I believe if you hover over the top left "Like what you see", it tells you what the image is off... or it has in the past for me.

If it was damp before when you looked at the house, do you know if they actually did anything. I've looked round houses before where it's obvious that they've bodged it by just covering it over for the viewings, hoping that it wouldn't be spotted.

I've spent a silly amount of time playing Civ VI, just finished mopping up a game on huge map size... Gotta love firing off them nukes, although it's a little unfair when launching them against people still in the industrial era (looks at you, Gandhi) I can't remember the last proper game I played all the way through, mind. I've got a list of about 100 games I've bought on steam and never played, yet I doubt I'll ever finish any of them.

I'm throwing another one into the low pay corner. I could quite easier get another £10k (at the minimum) for doing pretty much the same role in the private sector, with more options to progress and more training availability. The problem with schools is that whilst there are many low paid technician advertisements, moving on from that involves either great luck for the most part. Most IT managers in schools don't move on (because there's no where up to go) and those that do often don't get replaced by a full IT manager but a senior technician on a cheaper wage.

I quite like them. Not as bright as the old ones, but honestly I don't think that's an issue these days. Better quality lightbulbs/headlamps in cars mean that they aren't needed as much. Certainly when, for the most part, people don't need to look out their window to get a bearing for directions thanks to the sat nav!
