Exciting news! VeryPC are exhibiting at Bett 2020!

Dang far too late. My last pair have only just recently been eaten by the Washingmachine Edit: Most exciting thought though at the moment is my holiday this weekend drinking it up in Milton Keynes though! -
I'll be honest, I've done nothing buy swap to the cheapest provider once a year (or whenever the deal runs up).. Much of a muchness, haven't had good or bad experiences with any of them.

I've done quite a few things in my time (although my kit is all currently down with my dad, he fancied a go!) NEIPA I've done before, just gotta hop it to high hell for the juicy, gloopy profile. Have you had a chance to look into different yeasts, as that's one of the key things I find.

Now for the important question, Petrol or Diesel?

https://www.electricclassiccars.co.uk/ Personally I'd prefer this. "Whether you need a standard EV conversion on your existing classic, or full restoration work, we provide the best service with attention to detail that is second to none. Our conversions are tailor-made to meet our customers’ requirements. We take time during the planning process to make sure that each build suits our client’s specifications and driving style. We work hard to leave the essence of your classic car untouched – but at the same time we bring it bang up to date with 21st century innovation giving you improved reliability and more power! With some older classics you’ll need a brake upgrade to cope with your improved power. We can add this in to your build along with other modern enhancements such as electric heating, power steering, regenerative braking, upgraded suspension and more." Seems better to me upgrading everything to be modern and reliable!

South Coast Christmas EduSocial - Friday Jan 3rd 2020

Darn, I'll be back up in the midlands at that point. Bah humbug. -
Personally I go with the logic of better the devil you know. Getting a new car isn't going to have any guarantees that things are going to be up to scratch anyway (Or well, not for long until the warranty finishes). What have you done so far this year to spend £2000 on fixing it? Seems steep for most cars, silly even. a (Side note edit: Shouldn't be that hard to get a sump for it, moreso it being a diesel. That engine is used by about 7 different car manufactures, it's a bog standard Ford engine)

Depending on dates, I'll be down -
I've gone with putting LED strips around the top of the walls and around my monitor. Different colours. different intensity/colour warmth. Best of the best world, I think.

Rights to request CCTV of a car bumping into mine
LincolnE replied to tj2419's topic in General Chat
https://ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/cctv/ "You have the right to see CCTV images of you and to ask for a copy of them. The organisation must provide them within 30 calendar days. This is called a Subject Access Request. You will need to provide details to help the operator to establish your identity as the person in the pictures, and to help them find the images on their system." So technically you've got something enshrined in law, but obviously it's up to them to follow that practice. Personally I'd wait and see what they say, they might happily give you a copy anyway. Probably worth asking in any case, before going down the extreme route. -
[free] 2x LapCabby 16 Bay Laptop Trolleys - Free to a good home

Are these still available? -
Signing up to this because... lets be honest, who'd say no to an SSD. Might actually get my old laptop running reasonable again. (Tbh I should do this anyway, just checked I'm running an old 128GB ssd I bought... must have been at least 10 years ago now when I started Uni. Certainly doesn't do the i7-4710MQ I've got in there justice anymore xD)

A bit late to the party, but I'd advise against Genee Registrar for the time being.

Voted Midlands as that's where I am... and south east/london as it's easy to get to from basically everywhere (I dislike that London is the centre of everything, but that ain't gonna change any time soon)

I bought an old Polaroid camera about 3-4 years back. I think I've used it... twice in that time xD It's a fun niche, but can't replace digital stuff these days.
-
I was tempted to get one of the fidget cubes for my workplace, for the same reasons as above. Alas, they were banned 100% here, so I'm subconsciously clicking a pen all day instead.
-
Funny this, last time I wrote one was Saturday. Had to send off a form to replace my old driving licence, had to pay a £12 fee. I'd rather whack a cheque into it than write debit card numbers through the post.

Worst comes to worst, a mix of white vinegar and water will clean the mirror up. If I recall, vinegar is also useful for dissolving rust so should do the job.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony1: Persona 5 2: DDLC (Doki Doki Literature Club, a lovely (yet incredibly dark) visual novel). 3: Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (Mostly japanese styled games here, that's me in a nutshell xD)
-
I was tempted... until I looked at what actually happens. Just a little bit pricey for my liking.

PS4 for me, but I bought it exclusively for Persona 5. Got quite a few more JRPG's since then and loving every one And yeah, Horizon Zero Dawn would be the one for me.

Game theory time.... Honestly, I'd just go for the highest one, A. If I win, I'm happy and nothing lost if I don't. This is purely off what I think would be best to get the most money. I'd expect the end result to be Raffle A = 65 people (~£1.53 per person) Raffle B = 40 people (~£1.25 per person) Raffle C = 35 people (~£0.71 per person) Raffle D = 30 people (~£0.41 per person) Raffle E = 25 people (~£1.50 per person) Raffle F = 55 people (~£1.36 per person)

I've got three Samsung smart TV's dotted around the house now. I've never encountered an issue and I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when my other TV's go caput.
