Many short journeys (for the 19-30 people planes they are initially looking at) are for remote or small remote areas where public transport isn't really feasible, from what I can tell anyway. Also not all entirely passenger, could be for commercial uses - farming for example, postal and the like.

I think we're too far down the line for "normal" interest rates to reset a market. I bought my house 7 years ago for £190kish, I wouldn't be able to afford it now with with the rate it's gone up in value, my latest remortgage valuation put it just above £300k This isn't anything fancy, a basic 90's build 3 bed semi detached that was sold as a "starter" home. As someone who's 32, on a /good/ wage and would be unable to get onto the ladder, let alone progress up it, long gone are the times of cheap housing. I'm using my parents as an example, they bought their first house back in the 80s for £17K. Sold it a couple years later for £30k to buy a 3 bed terraced town house. Sold that in '99 and bought a good, 4 bed detached property with big garden for just under £200k. It's now valued at just over £1m... Wages have no where near gone up the same amount in this time - increases to interest rates will do naught more than leave many struggling and more people having their house reprocessed. People were used to interest rates of 6,7 or higher, but the house prices were within reach of many people. 5% of £30k for example is much different to monthly payments than 5% on £300k.

I'm "fortunate" in that I had to renew a couple of months ago - My mortgage payments is going from £680 to just under £800 a month for another 5 year fixed deal. Could be much worse, but still not ideal at the current time!

I'm with everyone else here, it opens up a can of worms that's entirely avoided elsewhere - in previous workplaces we've had staff members send inappropriate messages to each other over email - I can't imagine the nightmare of trying to prove or otherwise investigate a toolset in a business use case where you have no control or ability to manage. Likewise stopping people joining other servers using that account, inappropriately named discord accounts and everything else that comes from such a thing. I've seen some businesses use Slack for this, but that's more geared for industrial/business use.

The problem I've got with the Junction one is I'm suddenly stopping, on a major road, for someone who may or may not be crossing. If I tried that here, I'd have someone slam into the back of me within days. Sure I'd be in the right, but that doesn't solve the damage to the back of my car!

I do Google surveys, but in the past year I've gotten about £20 in Google credit for it. Mostly use it to buy audio books, mind you.

We've got Gloves and Masks here, plastic aprons if needed for specific roles. Fortunately glove discipline is something I already know and have mastered, working on cars means you quickly work out how grease, oil and dirt gets spread if you're not careful!

Old building system, no thermostatic valves on the radiators, all in series rather than parallel. Turning off one apparently turns off the entire loop, which is less than ideal.

Apart from the fact there's been almost the same costs - The buildings still need to be maintained, the heating still needed to be on for the students and staff that are in. Teachers have still had to be paid, which is a large chunk of any budget... and where are you going to buy that many laptops and get them set up in time for anything? Edit - In fact, given lettings and room bookings have been stopped, I'd argue most schools are loosing money at the moment - There's been a need for additional cleaners for example. We have about 150 computers over our computer rooms. We have around 300 pupils over years 10 and 12... Also I don't know about your IT rooms but literally here we've had to cram them in so you're literally shoulder to shoulder working on the computers. Screw 2m distancing, this is literally less than 30cm.

The normal 12v led strips are easy to trim down, every 5cm or so there's a cut point where you can just snip them. You can get waterproof variants quite cheaply, but you'd have to take care to properly waterproof the other sides of them where you cut and where you connect a battery terminal. https://www.therange.co.uk/lighting/led-lighting/string-lighting/battery-operated-led-light-strip/#137425 This suggests you can use a 3xAA connector terminal so it should be easily doable I'd say.

The biggest problem with any form of public transport, in my own opinion, is the harassment and intimidation I get whilst travelling on buses, trains or the like at times. I'm an openly trans person, honestly the threats and abuse I get on a train at, lets say 10-11pm on the tube network returning from a social event/work is actually horrendous at times, I know the same is true for many other LGBT+, people of colour or other generally discriminated against groups... hell just being a women has it's risks and as such you're excluding around half the population. Until we get these issues sorted, I don't think there's any real chance of adoption of different forms of public transport, shared cars or the like.

For that amount, I'd personally just look at a new graphics card. But the question has to be What do you want to get out of the machine, is there any where it's currently lacking for what you personally use it for?

I'd also assume the licence would have details like allowed users, additional device/print release licences or things like that (that may or may not be used).

Honestly, Corsair is my go to keyboard as well, bought three of the things over the past 5 years. (One for my gaming machine, one for the other half and one for myself at work)

I doubt they are waiting for a time when people wouldn't be around. I'd moresay they are doing it during their own working hours. They can't do it any earlier in the morning for noise issues and it gets dark quite a bit in the evening?

I thought the idea of coin collecting was to try and hope coins go up in value, making a bit of money on the side. If they flood the market with these, I doubt they'll be worth the £8.50 suggested xD
