So it this a genuine email from Capita, that somehow they have managed to send to thousands of people, exposing countless emails and also making the email look like a phishing scam at the same time. None of my schools get support direct from Capita either and have never received any previous emails from them.

Information my user gave me was, they clicked the link, that took them to a google page that then asked for a sign and then a password change. They might have some of info mixed up but it looks similar to the blue box emails from last year with a very vague message. Are location services enabled on the devices? When you open the meraki app on the device do you get ticks for Connected, Enrolled, Compliant and Location?

We have our SIMS hosted by SCOMIS in Devon and they're pretty good with excellent up time.

We have Meraki and just restrict the bandwidth on less important SSID's so we can control the bandwidth how we see fit. I do a similar thing to my children's wi-fi at home, how they love me ;-)

If you haven't already uninstall both devices and tick delete the drivers and reboot. Windows may well install what it thinks are the best drivers for you, but that's just their opinion! You could then download and install the drivers for that laptop. I'd suggest doing that directly from HP and then if that doesn't work get them from Intel and Nvidia. Have you been on any CC4 training? I'm not sure what happened to your CC4 network in the past but it doesn't sound like a standard setup, which is very organised and secure out of the box. We often get similar messages when the small plastic moulding that covers the charging jack comes away and the laptop then won't charge. Might be worth a look.
