I've had a subject access request, I need to find all emails concerning a certain person. I'm running exchange 2010, how would I search through all mailboxs of all users to find this information? Many thanks

Good shout, yes, that was a bit of a pain to setup last time, I think I'd blanked it from my memory! I used software restriction policies last time, but with that and FSRM we should make it pretty tight! -

True, command prompt I'd just want to take the temptation to fiddle away completely, they don't need to access it. Right click I was erring on the side of caution, but on the other hand it is also useful. -
Hi All I'm going to be rebuilding my network over the holidays, this is the first time I've done this with out being under an overlord. I just wanted to ask if there was a list of GPO's that everyone should have on their network, I've got a pretty good idea of most of the things I'll need to do, so I'm thinking something a little bit more obscure, something might be over looked. I've already got in mind currently - password policy folder redirection for start menu, desktop, home area and profile set preferences for printers and shared drives block control panel / settings block command prompt block software installation hide system drive Disable right click and external media SSO for One drive / sharepoint I'm sure I'm missing quite a lot though.

Hi All Have any of you come across this problem before... I've got sibelius 7.5.1 installed on windows 10 machines, the sound library is stored on our apps server. So far so good...? Now when I try and play instruments, keyboard and voice seem to play fine, but guitars and percussion just don't make any noise at all, it makes a show of the audio bar jumping in the program, but nothing is coming out of the speakers, any ideas what would cause this?

RM CC4 User disappearing
Simon_Sion replied to Simon_Sion's topic in Network and Classroom Management
I'm finding I can't do things that I should be able to do, the group policy structure is a mess, this just sling everything into a pot and some how it works(ish)?! Permissions are all over the place, if someone with a little knowledge got in they would be able to access most things the way the file structure is setup, but then also its all hidden folders on the server? the million and one shares set on our file server, I can't just add a printer to a machine after adding it to a server, user creation is clunky, and I still can't even work out where start menu's and desktops are set, even though they aren't showing up for about a quarter of the users. I've got a list as long as my arm that I don't like about the software, all things that with a quick gpo I could sort out in seconds. -

It's not popular here, let me tell you! I've only just taken over here and yeah... first major project is getting rid of it. -

RM CC4 User disappearing

I've removed them from AD already, but I can't recreate them in RM, I've taken over this RM network, from someone who took it over from someone else who didn't get a handover, so basically I've got no idea what I'm doing with it. The guy I took over from said you need to make the user first in CC4 before you do in AD? As I said, come summer I'm going to rebuild the network, so I just need to limp through a few more weeks. -
Hi All, just wondering if any of you who are using CC4 have come across this before... User was working fine last week, come in today and unable to login. Check AD she is in there, check CC4 she has disappeared. Try to recreate user and told - "a user named *** already exists in CC4 Database". Any ideas on how to rectify this? how do I see this "database" that already has the user in it? Over the summer I'm hoping to get rid of CC4, it can't come quick enough!

Hi All I've just taken over a new role at a school, and going through our current licenses, I've found that we paid AIT 9k for 3 years support in June last year, which is great! because my web search bought me to here to find out that they are no longer trading. Another query I had was we are paying around £180 a month to host the school website and CMS. That seems a little steep for me, just wanted some advice if that was more then it should be? thanks in advance
