lol. Lewis dragged that McLaren around for 2 years and won in a car that was nowhere near. He’s the best driver out there right now and only senna and possibly fangio were possibly better.
-
Lol what? Lewis has won races in cars that shouldn’t be anywhere near the front. I wanna go back to V8’s though. Can’t see that happening ever.

News regarding ICT4C/YHGfL?

One of my techs spoke to Sophos direct today and they said all licenses will be valid for the subscription period they signed up for. Sophos will be writing to all schools - there will be some reconfiguration of the SEC required. We’ve e-mailed the contact for confirmation of that. -
I’ve done couple of the slightly older models. I was nervous about taking the screen off - but it was very easy (with suckers). Ssd made a huge difference even on a core 2 duo.

Aren’t most iPads 9.7” unless you’re going for the pro ? ( I confess my fan bio status is not up to date Office 365 is free for education of course - but we needed to add a subscription in to our OVS licences to allow us to sign in on world for iPad.

I like meraki. But at just one school the annual meraki licence cost was more than installing a whole unifi AC lite in school. We went from 12 meraki to 20 unifi it something like that.

Do other drives get detected and work okay on your home mobo? I’m thinking a power thing. Does it spin up when connected ?
-
Unfi. From running a single AP in the house that covers the entire plot to 20+ in a primary school running hundreds of devices. It works brilliantly. It’s been in since the unifi AP ‘n’ days but but we tend to run AC-lites.

Issues for me yesterday getting on capita DBS service and today too. Seems to be ssl related And even my (not that smart it seems) alarm having trouble (like a 110 decibel alarm sounding.

Yeah I meant end of the season for kvyat F1 career. No way he'll be a TR driver next year. They're probably gonna run with a (I think) Japanese driver from a lower formula who has done quite well. Honda protege too....
-
End of kvyats F1 career then. Can't see anyone else picking him up. Never really recovered after being booted back to Torro Rosso

New file system supposed to better. Plus losing 32bit apps might help.

spent most days watching that after 6th form / at Uni. Loved it. -
You can upgrade to AC2 and the installer will migrate data. AC is only gonna give you more further problems as we get newer OS'

At home I set up without any issues. I added a L2TP-IPSec VPN server without any troubles to both home and our schools running Mikrotiks Some of the school config is more advanced and above me! We use GRE tunnels, bridges and access lists for things. What I would say if there is a wealth of info, help and tutorials out there to help you. Not sure about Radius. I believe so as the boss was setting something up last week but unsure if it was on Mikrotik / routerOS

We use mikrotik routers. Fantastic kit - so many options. I've put one in at home too.

Had an e-mail today from a primary that's had a complete Refurb + new building and in effect a new network cabled up. I'd powered down severs and stored them. On Friday the network wasn't complete. They have planned an ICT training day on Monday. Luckily I managed to enable. My professional gene before writing the first thing that came into my head / mouth. They've since cancelled the training [emoji23]

I've been accused of being an apple fan boy - which is partly true I guess - but only cos I tried both and the more I used my mac the more it just seemed 'to work'. This was an early WinXP era and I haven't really looked back. Win7 was much better than I thought and I quite like many Win10 things (apart from the intrusive windows update). My 27" iMac is from 2011 and with an SSD and 2tb hdd I can't find a reason to justify changing. Same for my MBP 2012 15" which has a 1tb SSD and Quad core i7. And an Ethernet port

As above suggestions really. Raid 1 on the 300gb 10k drives. And use those for your VM's where possible Think I'd think about Raid10 on the 2tb's for 4tb usable capacity. Suppose you might go Raid5 (3x2tb) plus a spare?

I can understand wanting a team to do well, having a soft spot or even wanting them to win. But the team you support is in your blood. There can be only one! Could be wrong on Rovrum (I live in Rotherham but from Sheffield originally so a Wednesday fan) - they could really play well and find a goal scorer to get them out of the league. Or they'll just go through the division and out the bottom end. It'll be one way or the other!
-
You can't support 2 teams! Rotherham going nowhere. No ambition and no money now. Chairman doesn't seem to want / be able to spend. And Paul Warne isn't an inspiring appointment.
-
We aspire to get to the premier league. On the other hand the championship is so close, some real quality and fun. I'm not sure I fancy being beat every week in the PL. and It's only going to Chelsea / City it Man U who will win it every year.
