I've still got this beast I'm trying to get rid of: NEO 2000e

An old Smartboard? There's a tiny thermal fuse on the circuit board that fails. If you slide the board out of the board (!) then there's a chance a decent electronics whizz will be able to sort it for you.

I've just picked up one of these, £80 from the Orange (EE) store with the public sector discount. Great bargain phone.

I'll give my brother the heads up. He's Sheffield based but willing to travel, as not much comes up that way. -
Man Down doesn't seem to have been mentioned much. That was hilarious, and he even looks like he could be Greg Davies' father. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf-2abP8fgY

It might be considered cruel, but when my child was young I gave her the option to try some of my very bitter dark chocolate, which she didn't like. I told her that all chocolate tasted the same (except for chocolate covered raisins which were an occasional treat), therefore no tantrums at the checkout.

Its good of them to start consolidating all the horrible companies I'd never use, into one easy-to-avoid company. -
Still got my copy. It was the easiest game in the world.

As celebrities went, I think she was a decent one. I personally didn't really know her or her work. She didn't do outrageous things to get on the front page like Kerry Katona and Jordan, or any of those "reality" Essex / Chelsea ITV2 crowd. What I do have a problem with is the initial media leap onto the bandwagon. Camping outside the house. What for, to try and get a picture of grieving Bob Geldof? - - - Updated - - - As celebrities went, I think she was a decent one. I personally didn't really know her or her work. I love it when we get a list of the new Y7 intake, see if we can find the most outrageous name! Personally I still think there's a place for Gaylord. It always made me snigger when Dick Emery used it in his sketch show, long before Ben Stiller and Meet the Parents.

I did read the title. There was no location in it when I posted my question, but was modified after my post.

I'm guessing Donny area by the phone number? Putting location in the thread title would be a big help.

Horses for courses. I find 1Gb is plenty, I prefer to use Wifi where I can anyway.

Just had an email myself. None of the numbers related to my ordering system but the tracking details seemed legitimate, relating to someone in Bournemouth called Macfee who had a parcel delivered on 11th November 2013.

What was the turnout? Last time it was just 40%. If 100% of union members can't rouse themselves, why should we?

All my old kit works - Spectrums of all ages from rubber key to +2 and +3, their disk systems of all types (+D, +3, Microdrives), joysticks (Quickshot 2 and the Sinclair ones), Amstrad and Philips monitors, BBC Master and drives (5.25" and 3.5"), and all my portables - Epson HX20 (including tape drive and printer), Tandys, Amstrads. Did they make them to last or what?

My OH works in this field, working with the BBC to sell their products overseas. Sherlock is the next big export they're pushing. And its no co-incidence that the views of the UK viewers of Top Gear think its the same and boring. They make more money selling it overseas to countries that love the same format. That's why they don't review small UK cars on there - it wouldn't mean anything to the bigger denominator of worldwide viewers.
