Get it from B&Q on OAP Wednesday and get 10% off too, making it cheaper than the usual sources.
  2. We have to do one annually. I also have to make sure there are COSHH data sheets available for any cleaners or solvents we use. Luckily if you buy branded stuff or from the YPO you can get them easily. And if there are no COSHH sheets the stuff has to be in a box marked "use at your own risk".
  3. Korean KFC=Kentucky Fried Chihuahua?
  4. More importantly, its 25 years since I found out that David Hasselhoff was much more than just a sidekick to KITT
  5. Almost two years old, but still accurate: BBC - Blogs - Weather - What's behind the 'coldest winter for 100 years' headline?

Very boring race. The only interesting things were the pre-race changes - drivers lining up for the anthem and meeting dignitaries. Co-incidence that this just happened to be at the Russian GP, where Putin was very active, or just because it was a new track, or will we see it at every subsequent race?

  9. Put the onus and responsibility of the owner to ensure their equipment is fit for purpose and safe and that you expect their equipment to meet the same stringent standards as the rest of the school's equipment.
  10. The important thing is to let it be known that you're willing to embrace new technology. Yes, they can be a pain to set up and manage, but that's why we're here. Just make sure that SMT know their role in this and the logistics of implementation. I was reading an article a while back and Edugeek got a real slating for the negativity coming from its members regarding iPads. This is a pretty good read: Professor Don Passey - Educational Research at Lancaster University
  11. Its quite old now and may have been superseded by something better, but VideoLan and Unreal Media Server have been mentioned in the past, the latter by me.
  12. No problems here, using Chrome.
  13. I can recommend this solution: SalamanderSoft Limited - My Documents & My Shared Documents Web Parts : Access to your home folder and shares through SharePoint
  14. The whole plot seemed stolen from Star Trek TNG for me: I Borg (episode) - Memory Alpha, the Star Trek Wiki And then at the end when they showed you a bit of next weeks, that just reminded me of when Q took the TNG bridge crew and put them all in a Robin Hood scenario.
  15. Funny how this allegation seemed to fizzle out into nothing: John Peel got 15-year-old pregnant after meeting at Black Sabbath concert, claims woman - Telegraph
  16. They did that with me, just took the name off the label and signed as that on a day I wasn't even in work.
  17. I won't be signing. Wild camping is fine as it is. There's a good community of campers who know how to do it properly so it needs to be kept off the radar as much as possible. Traditional camping has been ruined by people who don't know the basics and make loads of row after midnight, slamming car doors, talking in their tents like they're in their houses at home, along with uncaring site owners who just want £££££££££££ and don't want the hassle of confronting anyone. It was the same with urban exploration - a great underground hobby. Then it became mainstream and got spoilt by people wrecking, stealing and having sites locked down or having extra security, along with heavy handedness from the police. Its not illegal in Scotland, so lets keep it that way and keep the plebs on the official sites.
  18. That's something that BBC DJ Mark Radcliffe has been vocal on in the past regarding Garry Glitter. He was a key figure in the glam rock era and produced some classic hits which have now been airbrushed from history.
  19. Quite an amusing clip from the wonderful Early Doors:

Took mine off years ago because it was a pain to remove and refit when I wanted to do an oil change.
  21. That's an odd one to blow, could be a sign of other underlying problems.
  22. Agree, I've used them before. I once got a three bedroom detached house all to myself for £350 a month (including all bills), the owner had moved in with her boyfriend and the other two rooms were for her sons who were at uni so never home.

He was starting to remind me of Whining Webber. But Hamilton overcomes these obstacles
  24. There's a great archive of INPUT magazine here: Commodore - Magazines - Input My favourite has to be the "Home Computer Course", and the "Home Computer Advanced Course", with the way they took the lid off computers (literally).
  25. Would the interviewing panel be willing to give the unsuccessful candidates current managers some feedback?
